COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied dark beer with a malty aroma and a well-balanced blend of roasted malts and hops.” Typically a winter beer, due to its popularity, we have been brewing Doppelbock all year long. We hand roast the malts in small batches for a heartier flavor. This full-bodied beer is for beer drinkers who want to experience everything a beer has to offer.

Bottle. Pours brown with tan bead. Aroma of toasted malt, mild hop. Flavor is much the same with a light sweetness and malt backbone. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Overall, is alright.

Bottle thanks to a friend. Black pour with a cream colored head. Nose is rich toffee, caramel, roasted malts, and light coffee. Very smooth on the palate heavy coffee, backed by roasted malts, light caramel, and hint of chocolate in the finish.

Bottled. Pours a dark brown with thin white head. Sweet, roasted, and nutty aroma. Roasty, caramel, nutty flavor that is somewhat syrupy. My favorite beer from Tin Mill.

Bottle- Purchased as Tin Mill "Midnight Whistle". Pours a dark Mahogany color with a small head and bits of lacing. Smell of roasted nuts mixed in with some bittersweet chocolate and coffee. Taste begins with a crisp bitterness then a coffee and bittersweet chocolate mixture. Has a slightly bitter finish. Fairly moderate body, quite smooth. No bad, but doesn’t seem like a Dobbelbock. Reminds me more of a Dunkel. Nice change of pace beer. worth a try.

It poured a light tan color with a white head. The aroma was malty with some roast and chocolate. The flavor was some chocolate with small roast and sweet caramel malt.

Bottle - not much head, very dark amber/dark brown color, strong coffee aroma and flavor - just not a fan of coffee flavored beer

Bottle @ home, courtesy of gooovikings. Dark red/brown appearance with a tan head that dissipates pretty quickly. Dark, toasty, chocolate, caramel, deep malty lager aroma that’s pretty nice. Toasty, nutty, chocolate, caramel, dark malty flavor with a good amount of sweetness. My favorite offering from Tin Mill.
