Draft pint at the brewery tasting room. Golden orange, crisp and tangy with a bit of a hoppy Germanicness, but overall a rich and fully malty body. Well done pilsner. (#3026, 7/16/2007)

Sampler at the brewpub. This was delicious, muddled, muted golden body. Aroma snaps with noble hops, herbally, fresh and green. Clean crisp with bread behind that. Great crisp body with a perfect above average carbonation to go along with the prickly hops. Flavor is similar to the aroma, with a great bitter kick. Finishes super easy. The wine server at the Three Saints winery tasting room told me she thought this beer was too bitter, so now you know. If I could get this fresh in a bottle, I would drink it all summer long.

12 ounce bottle from theisti
Pours clear golden with a pure white head and raising carbonation bubbles.
The aroma is mostly pilsner malt sweetness, with a touch of nobel hop aroma.
Certainly an all malt beer. A bit of a DMS character. Minty hops.
Medium, maybe even one of the fuller bodied pils I’ve had. Very carbonated. Semi sweet finish.
Yeah, this is a really good beer.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2007 12 oz. bottle purchased at the Brewery. Pour is clear straw yellow with a few carbonation bubbles and a two inch white head. Aroma of nice earthiness, Saaz hops and some peppery spice. Taste has the earthiness, spice, some faint sweetness and the hops carrying the middle to finish. Really nice mouth feel, big full flavor. Very clean and crisp finish. Certainly the tastiest Pils I have tasted. Nicely done, and good to have another quality MO brewer.

12 ounce bottle from theisti Clean aroma with light malt and earthy/floral hops. Yellow color, brilliant clarity, 2 fingered head and persistent carbonation. There are scant traces that this is bottle conditioned. A nice pils malt sweetness up front and some earthy and floral hops at the back end. A moderate, but smooth, bitterness makes this very drinkable. The beer may be a bit overcarbonated, but otherwise a nice BoPils. This would be a nice one to quaff all day long at the Hermann Octoberfest.

12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow. Tall fizzy head. Aroma of skunky hop. Nice Euro presence. Bready malt. Flavor of Pils malts, with a nice saaz bite. Very well balanced. Characteristic to style. Well done.

Bottle from theisti. Pours a clear golden yellow with a loose, frothy, white head that reduces leaving decent lace. The nose is clean, highlighting earthy hops with no real malt aroma. Light-bodied and thin with fine carbonation and a crisp, lightly bitter finish. The flavor is a sweet bready pilsner malt backed by lightly spicy, earthy hops. Where this pilsener lacks in its nose, it makes up for in its flavor. A very tasty pilsener and one worthy of being a go-to session beer. Thanks for bringing this one back, Tim.

STL microfest. Tin Mill really impressed me at the fest with great versions of everything they they offered. Pours pale yellow with a large white head. The aroma has grassy hops and pale malt. Medium / thin body with subdued carbonation. The taste is like the aroma and is very refreshing and clean with light spiciness as well. There is some creaminess in there too. Nice pils.

Pretty golden color with thin white head. Crisp and quite dry with nice bitterness and slight lemon backdrop. Quenching. Props to this little brewery for dedicating itself to lagers and doing them well.

Tap at the brewpub. They stated that this was more hoppy than the Skyscraper. A deep amber colored body. Oranges and bread crust came out of the smelling. I tasted oranges with some bread crust. There was also a little bit of soap in the finish. Decent, but not as well balanced as Skyscraper.
