Nice coffee aroma here, some of which carries over to the taste. Malt-forward as coffee & chocolate malts take center stage. Tasty, but nothing special.

I’m not the biggest fan of beer from a can. More of a chocolate aroma I reckon. Smooth drink, a bit sweet for me though.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can thanks to Lewis. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy sweet dark grains with just a hint of bitter coffee lying underneath. Flavor has sweet dark grains with only a hint of earthy coffee.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours very dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, a little chocolate, some dough, and light bitterness. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Average texture. An alright beer, but nothing special.

Reddish-black with a modest head and a dark chocolate, coffee nose and some lacing. Smooth intro with a medium body and a dark chocolate, cherry, coffee and chicory finish. Their best beer.

i quite like this brewery, always a solid product .. . pours a medium dark brown .. decent foam .. . mild coffee and high quality dirt .. . very light mouth .. . good finish .. a good canned piece .. . .
Talk about a double standard. Stupid long cars.

Tin Roof Parade Ground Coffee Porter has a medium, beige head, a dark, but not hazy, standard brown appearance, visible clinging bubbles, and heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, medium-roasted barley malt and a faint coffee smell. Taste is of the same, but the smooth coffee is more pronounced, here, than in the smell. Bitterness is present, but mild. One will also pick up some sweet creaminess, but no alcohol. Mouthfeel is light and a touch slick, and Tin Roof Parade Ground Coffee Porter finishes mostly dry, easy drinking, and rather refreshing. I would like to see them do a coffee and chicory porter. Overall, this is worth checking out. RJT

Can from Stein’s pours near black with a thin tan head. Strong medium-roast coffee aroma and taste with a bit of chocolate.

On tap @ Bayou Burger on Bourbon Street. Dark brown, thin tan head. Pleasantly roasty with a strong coffee character, but a little too sweet for my preference.
