Can:   Dar brown, thin frothy sandy head, little lacing.   Very faint roasted malt nose, seems a bit lactic.   Rather tame on the tongue, a bit watered down roastiness with a very soft tartness to it.   Perhaps I get some faint coffee?   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Its a bit odd, seems like a decent maltiness but its not very roasty or coffee oriented.   Its clean, but way too soft, with a decent maltiness at least.

Deep brown pour. Thick tan head. The nose is quite roasty and laden with coffee. Has a fairly light chocolate note through the middle and a bit of herbal flavour.

Surprisingly good beer. The malt is well proportioned and the beer is nice and dark... Like good coffee is supposed to be. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can poured to tulip. Thick 4 finger head, beige in color, long lasting and persists as a thin head throughout. Extensive lacing. Deep black color with mahogany highlights. Dark chocolate and coffee aromas with a faint piney note. Tastes of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Minimal bittering and nice mouthfeel not too heavy and finishes with a coffee flavor on the palate. Will def grab another. Cheers!

Black with no head. Aroma is lightly smoked malts. Taste is roasted coffee. It's less espresso, though, and more drip coffee.

The aroma is burnt malt with coffee and chocolate. The appearance is typical. The taste is like the aroma but very bitter. The palate is average. Overall an average beer.

Smooth and smokey, a nice chocolate and nutty malty flavor with a touch of brown sugar. It's low on hop but works for a nice drink ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Bulldog in New Orleans. Pour is dark brown with a small khaki head. Aroma and flavor are of light coffee, roasted malt, and light chocolate. Finish is thin and toasty. A bit plain, but not bad.
