COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Citrusy, grapefruit aroma, Cascade hops, and roasted caramel malt combine to create this medium-bodied brew with flavor hints of chocolate and toffee. This bitterness is perfectly balanced, yielding an easy-drinking, but malty, session beer.

12oz can. Rating #33. Clear dark amber pour with a light tan head. Light citrus and caramel aroma, really nice. Nice bitterness with a light toasted character, I like it. (2742)

Perfect Tin Amber Ale from Tin Roof brewery in Baton Rouge, LA. Aroma. Mild citrusy with a little sweet hint if the dark malt Appearance. Dark amber color, clear with a 2.5 finger white large bubble foamy head. With nice lacing for a vigorous can pour Taste. A bit dry with slight malty sweetness but the citrusy notes are present, a hint if grapefruit and spices. A very light chocolate ending Mouthfeel. A bit dry at first the a little oily after finish moderate carbonation Overall. A nice amber ale with nice citrusy notes from the hops and surprisingly mild roasted chocolate finish. A solid beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The only "craft" beer besides Abita at a lot of places in New Orleans. Pours a deep amber on tap with thin off-white head and little to no lacing. Aroma of caramel and toffee malts with a hint of pine. Taste is just the malts, light body and easy to drink. Not bad, but not great.

Can via UDBeernut...many thanks Art. Aggressive pour yields 3 inch growing head on a rub/sienna body. Large open lacing left behind. Nose is light pine hop on moderate malt. Hops do not translate in to malt dominant body. Sweet lightly caramelized finish. This would go great with a MD blue crab dinner.

Can via Ldhughes3 pours hazy amber with off white tan foam head that reduces to a light cap. Nose of pine and malt. Taste adds a element of toffee and citrus. This thing finishes with a nice palate moving bitterness. Body is solid if not a bit thin. While not the best beer in the world, IMO it’s a tad better than what most are rating it.

Draft. Poured pale gold with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor were caramel malt, a touch of toffee, some spiciness. Faintly astringent mouthfeel; medium weight.

Sample pour - hazed amber, somewhat opaque. Nose is smooth caramel with malts and toffee. Flavor was more hopped with sweetened malts and caramel following. Body was lighter with light lacing.

Pours a red-ish amber with a finger thick off white head that dissipated quickly. Smells like sweet malt. Tastes of sweet malt, caramel, copper. A slight astringent flavor, medium light body with a light malt aftertaste. Decent amber.

Can:   Amberish, moderate sudsy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Spicy maltiness up front, a touch floral.   Not too shabby.   On the tongue the maltiness is a little astringent and a little dirty.   However, it remains a bit spicy.   Not sure what it is, but its like a faint nutmeg/chocolate combo.   Very faint, and odd for an Amber.   Finishes with a slightly sweet earthy malt background.   Aspects of soils, nutmeg, and that chocolate/caramel malt profile.   This is one of those brews that I continue to sip and run out before I can completely collect my thoughts.   Not bad overall, very different at least.   Thanks for the can Bill!
