This does not take me anywhere... It's got nothing in the way of good American pale ale qualities... A stale hop aroma and taste...bad bitterness lingers... Not worth a repeat at this point... Can design is nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Deep copper with medium off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and light resinous hops. Medium body, caramel, roasted malts, some sweetness, and a bitter finish. Not what I was expecting from a pale ale.

Draft. Medium brown with a white head. Hop and grain aroma. Big bitter hop flavor with a grainy bready finish. Almost spicy. If you’d had told me it was a rye beer I would have believed you.

Tap @ Beer Fest. Hazy dark orange appearance with a light brown head. Burnt sugar. Kind of stale. Slightly sweet. Caramel. Slightly herbal/ginger flavor. Eh.

12 oz can - Pours an orange copper with a thick white head, much carbonation. I noted some citrus and sweet dough in the nose, along with a floral presence. I expected a slam of hops, but rather got a mild, yet flavorful dose of them. Flavors of citrus, grapefruit, cereal grain/toast, and instead of sweet bread (from the aroma) I got some sourdough bread. The hops was mild, but I really enjoyed this one. I don’t know why I’m so surprised? Let me do some more research, y’all.

12 ounce can. This beer pours mostly clear coppery and has a rocky head. Citrus in the aroma with big malts. This offers nice citrus, bitterness, and malts. Caramel and cane sugar in the malts with biscuit. Citrus and tropical hops. Those combine for a nice beer. Malt is forward.

On tap @ Bayou Burger on Bourbon Street. Burnt orange hue with a thin golden head. Not a very assertive aroma. I didn’t get any ginger flavours here, justa mild piney hop character and sweet caramel.
