This does not take me anywhere... It's got nothing in the way of good American pale ale qualities... A stale hop aroma and taste...bad bitterness lingers... Not worth a repeat at this point... Can design is nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Ole Saint. Pours a clear amber with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat and caramel. Medium mouth, sweet malt, caramel, light finish, ok.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Malty base, mild sweet and toasty notes, faint fruity notes, and mild to moderate bitterness. Fine.

Pours an amber-golden with a short beige head. Toasted malt nose. Way too watery. As if ice cubes were melted in it. Not good at all.

From the tap the color is (in bad lightning) auburn with almost no head, the aroma is an ale and light malts, the taste is malts almost soy sauce flavors and cream like cream soda on the finish, the mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation

Muted citrus and odd in a good way caramel aroma with grainy notes, a candy sweetness also apparent as it warms. Ruddy muddy copper color, lots of yeast sediment. Taste is okay, not overly hop forward but citrusy hop character is more apparent in flavor than in aroma. Palate is nice, creamy, slightly over carbed perhaps, itís borderline. Overall not enough hop punch and I get hints of the ginger but wouldnít know what it was if not in the description. It seems a timid approach to doing something different. Sort of a íletís differentiate ourselves from other APAs but lets not be boldí approach ... recipe for mediocrity, which this beer is. Itís not a bad beer, Iíd drink it again and will try it again (especially on tap), but it shines in no particular way yet isnít bad in any particular way, and doesnít showcase cane syrup (which I LOVE) or ginger in any special way.

This beer; this beer is what a perfect session drinking should be; it's got a balance of flavor of malt and hops that you can enjoy it with friends and family without being distracted. Strong malt and touch of hops ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber pour. The aroma is quite sweet and malty. Some light grapefruity hops and a touch of pepper. Sweet and a little bit hoppy. Okay.

On tap at The Blind Tiger. A copper pour with an off white head. Nose is grain, straw, little else. Flavor is lightly bitter. Thin mouthfeel.
