33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma is mild mouldy to vegetable, mild bitterhops note and malty too. Flavour is sweet cornish, light vegetable note too. Mild spice note into a rather non-bitterfinish.

Lasch bitterer Abgang. Nix Revolutionäres.Test vom 19.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2009 From Bootlegger (Paris), which turns out to be the only good thing about this beer. Colour wsa a clear gold beneath a lively white head. Aroma was peculiar, nothing I could name, but it was quite unbeer-like. Exactly like the taste, in fact. Just an unpleasant beer, with a thinnish mouthfeel to go along with the nasty taste. My Hite for ’09, maybe?

bottle, at neutral klub in pilsen last night, watching v3ska, possibly the best ska band to come out of holysov. aroma of wet socks and shower cleaner, some corn and rice flavour, a bit of staleness, too. anyways, i wasn’t feeling that fussy. i feel so high, i feel so joy, as v3ska would say

Way sweet, with heavy caramel. Fairly clean about it - no diacetyl or off-flavours. Probably just an abundance of unfermentable sugars. This beer is tough to find - generally only in peso bars. It’s the local beer of Camaguey but even there you can’t find it in CUC bars. I also found it at a couple spots in Havana. Very, very sweet.
