Golden lager color. Small white head. Hoppy aroma. Light to medium body, malty. Grassy hop aftertaste. Welldone pilsener in Eastern European standards.

(Bottled) Golden color with a small head. Very strongly hoppy, fruity aroma - much like Urquell, but not as offensive. Slightly sweet, pleasantly hoppy and quite malty flavor with a honey-citric twist. Medium-bodied palate with balanced carbonation. A very nice, clean and refreshing pilsener.

Bottled. A Russian microbrewer with much more character than the Baltika. Nice hoppy scent after a presentable pour. Slightly lighter than a regular pilsner. It does have a good pilsner malt profile, though slightly sweet. Well done Czech hop profile, too.

OK... a twist off Tinkov russian pilsner. Yellow straw color with a lightly whipped egg white looking head. Small amount of residual lace. A true eastern european malt profile in the the aroma along with some grain spirits (rice in particular), and dried grass. Sweet grain and malt flavors mixed with a wet hopsack. Minerals all about. Finish is lightly sweet with a touch of iron and hay. Interesting, but not my type of pils (of course, I really did not expect it to be).

Looks like Miller, so T(h)inkoff Miller. Few aroma, color and flavors. Light sweet, light malty, light bitter.

omhper (17450) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 17, 2003
Bottled. Pale yellow. Bready aroma. Medium sweet, light bodied, clean with soft mouthfeel and low bitterness. Refreshing and rather well balanced, but lacking in flavour.

Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - AUG 8, 2003
5.3%/13%. Average in quality and annoyingly over-priced beer. Taste is very clean (due to cruel filtration?). There is some maltiness and enigmatic hardness in the finish. Russian Corona Extra.

Pale golden. Fruity, maltaroma. Perfumic flavor with a soapy finish. No bitterness is to be found.

Golden with a white creamy head. Sourish, fruity, hoppy aroma. A pleasant flavour; perfumelike and with nice and long bitterness
