COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Regular;
Gull Rock is a dark, full bodied beer with a refreshing and clean taste that rivals the best of any of the West Country’s breweries. With a good balance between hops and malt, at 4.2% ABV it has already received CAMRA’s seal of approval and has appeared at their St Ives Beer Festival. It is the favourite for many local drinkers and holiday visitors alike

Cask handpump at GBBF ’10. Amber with a buttery aroma. Malt and hop in the taste. Mid bitter finish. To be quite honest I was on the point of hitting the legendary ’wall’ at this Festival.

Bottle from Farm - Pours clear and golden deep orange with a fully gone head. Light butterish and hoppy aroma. Bitter, rather malty and mild citrusy in the flavour. Ends medium bitter and lasting malty.

Amber colour with a big frothy white head and lace. Skunky arse malt aroma with toffee. Thin texture, slight bitterness. Toffee malt flavour. Hop bitter finish. Earthy.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A pale dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrus fruits, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel,nutty, toffee, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, nutty, toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, prunes, hints of coffee and dusty hops in the finish. Light body, fairly dry. Decent but hardly exciting.
