Aussie Pale Ale
Australian style pale ale with Mango and spicy aroma from this single-hopped Tasmanian beer. Tropical fruits dominate the taste with moderate bitterness and sweetness that balance with the Munich malt flavours. Drinkability & balance is key whilst still maintaining a full hoppy & malty profile.

Tap takeover at Craft Beer Covent Garden, London. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Malty fruity aroma, citrus, grapes, hay notes. Fruity citrus flavor, grapes, hay notes. Kinda nice.

Craft beer covent garden. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, some hops, a hint of tea, bitter. Meh, don’t really like it. Ok beer but I prefer the more fruit hoppy ones. Don’t get any mango in this other than a slight whiff in the aroma.

My Bottom Line:
Zinging tropical fruit even build green peppercorn and sake-like allusions in this characterful New World Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam laces around the blond gown.
-The soft malt roundness serves the idiosyncratic hoppiness well.
-Drinkability is high, if you are a hophead.
-That hop character is different from anything else I’ve had before.
-Another great job by Tiny Rebel!

On cask at Craft Beer Co. Brighton.

Cask at the Euston tap. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma is nice soft fruity citrus, pear drops, mango, bready grains. Flavour is composed of mellow base malts, bready, raw grains, nice easy going citrus hop, orange rind with background tropical notes. Palate is soft and slightly grainy with very good cask condition. Solid easy going flavoursome APA.

Cask at The Railway, Richmond. 4.6%. Hazy orange, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is passionfruit, melon, astringent pithy notes - borderline chemically. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is watery lime, grass, melon, soft bitterness. That chemical astringency carries into the taste. Nice potent fruity hops throughout but this one is just too astringent, which brings down the drinkability unfortunately. That’s the only difference between what could be a 3.8 rating and the 3.4 rating I’m giving this.

Backlog rating. Cask at CPK, London. It pours a slightly unclear pale golden color with medium white head. Aroma is grassy and softly sweet with ripe peaches. Taste has more fruity sweetness and some pine cone and resin form the hops. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, decent APA
