3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Lyric W1. A bright golden coloured ale, medium head. For some reason I was expecting a more aggressive beer, but this was a fruity citrusy bittersweet ale, very well-judged and balanced and really quite tasty. More of a session beer than anything else, but no worse for it.

At the Manchester Velodrome Beer Festival 2014. Pale clear gold with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, jammy stuff. Some citrus hops, little floral. Quite subtle everywhere and a tasty session ale.

Cask (i think, tasting notes dont say, backlog (sorry)) @The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Pours clear and golden in colour, with a soft and small with head. Hoppy nose, mango and citrus fruits to the fore. More orange than anything else on the taste, which i usually like but this was a little one toned, just a bit boring, not bad just nothing to get excited about.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A pale amber orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A fresh hop aroma, fruity, grapefruit and lemon. Dry mouthfeel. A tart and refreshing hop flavour, loads of citrusy hop flavours like grapefruit, lemon and lime, then a floral taste comes through. This is followed by a mild slightly sweeter malt flavour. The citrusy hop flavours last well into the finish.
Tasted at the Lamb & Flag, Oxford.
