COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Probably the countries favourite word, Cwtch is our Welsh Red Ale. The complex malt base compliments its big hop flavours.

Bottle at home. Murky ruby-brown with a tall off-white head. Notes of orange zest, herbal hops, caramel, overripe apples. Bitter and metallic.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber brown beer with medium head and correct retention. Nose is intense on exotic fruits hops and toasted malt. Aroma is on exotic fruits, caramel, toasted malt, hop resin, touch of marzipan, light carared, biscuit. Bit too hopy on the fruit side for me.

My Bottom Line:
Grass and grapefruit, flowers and hemp, this New World-style Red Ale has tons to talk about laid out in its silky smooth malty setting.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam laces atop the misty brownish amber.
-Hops also develop earth.
-Malts evoke rye at times, and even caraway.
-Great drinkability and harmony in this one.
-You can scarcely imagine a more characterful and complex Red Ale.
-The fizz in the bottles makes the hops appear a tad brash compared to the naturally-carbonated cask version, which had plenty of room to lay everything out smoothly. Hurray for real ale!

Bottles (3.8) and on cask at Craft Beer Co., Brighton (4.2).
