COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Probably the countries favourite word, Cwtch is our Welsh Red Ale. The complex malt base compliments its big hop flavours.

Wombata (606) - Kobe, JAPAN - MAR 8, 2016
Bottle from Craft Beer Base. Aroma: Lightly pungent orange, passion fruit, mango, floral, cedar-like spice. Palate: Light bodied. Flavor: Dried passion fruit, mango, pungent orange, rind, cedar/white pepper on the finish. Comment: Vibrant carbonation and bitter hop on entry. Very dry finish. Similar in style to the dry styles of Shiga Kogen and Kyoto Brewing Company (with whom they did the Double Dragon Stout). Well done, especially for fans of flavorful dry ales with a light body.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber beer with a dense white head on top. Aroma is fruity hoppy, moderately malty with both hints of bready touches and grassy notes. Flavor is a bit mild, softly bitter and softly carbonated. Aftertaste is a bit weak. Decent sessionable ale for sure.

Older rating - On cask at Watford real ale festival, pours a clear chestnut color with a loose tan head. The smell is citrus, roasted malt, grass. The taste is toasty, dry with citrus and a touch of toffee. Light in body with nice, fine carbonation.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear pale amber with a dense off-white head. Fruity nose, subtle citrusy hop notes. Light in body, dry caramel, little dusty and chalky, decent hoppiness but not really all that aromatic. Bitter finish. But not a bad Amber. 150216

Normal sind diese Ambers nicht meine Sache, aber dieses hier trifft schon den Zahn. Mild im Antrunk mit einer leichten Würze, dahinter malzig, leicht fruchtig und stark ausbalanciert mit einem Schuss Hopfen. Gute Geschichte.
