A unique schizophrenic beer where youíll face off against floral hoppy flavours up front, leading into a dry spicy bitterness on the back. Need something a bit different to wake up your taste buds? Itís time to get a FUBAR.

Cask @ CPK. The pourís light gold with a small creamy white head. The nose is bright citrus, lemon peel, dried grass and a bit of piss, sugar cookies. The taste is simple tropical fruits, pineapple. Plenty of resin, brash hops. Lemon peel and tree bark. Dry, bitter finish. Light, responsive body. Fine carbonation. Overall, a really tasty, simple beer. Sometimes you just need to let those hops shine...

040714. Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with a small head. Aroma floral hops, some spices and a hint of strawberry. Hoppy light palate. Taste was much better than I expected, could just be the vacation talking. OK.

Spina @ fob. Chiara con splendida schiuma molto persistente. Corpo watery, carbonazione stuzzicante, luppolatura davvero gradevole e non troppo forte. Ce ne vorrebbe una cassa... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

(33 cl bottle courtesy of minutemat; Bottle says "19:37 21/10/12 11") Pours a mostly clear golden with little white head that disappears immediately. Aroma is practically devoid of hops with only a hint of bread. Watery texture, flat carbonation, medium to light body and a dry bitter finish. The flavour reveals that hops are still present in this beer as it holds considerable, dry bitterness. Was probably a good beer when fresh.

Almost clear, golden yellow appearance with medium and lasting head. Hoppy aroma, lovely aroma but disappointing palate. Pronounced bitterness. Decent pale ale.

Tasting Notes Visual: Clear golden. Visible carbonation. Pillowy white head. Nose: Earthy yeast, grassy hops with a fruity tinge. Subtle and green. Taste: Bready malts with a dry grass, pine and slightly peppery hop bitterness. Mouthfeel: Crisp, with a tickle from the carbonation. Slightly drying, but refreshing.

Cask gravity at CPBF. It pouts clear golden amber with a minimal white head. The nose is floral, piney, potpourri, sweet citrus peel and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, lemon, grapefruit, floral, pepper, touch of grain, wood polish, varnish and spice. Medium body and fine carbonation. A great modern take on a gokden.

Aroma: light bread malts, caramel, light fruits. Appearance: clear gold, medium creamy white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: initially some sweets come up, but bitters reappear and dominate towards the average-long finish. Overall: great Golden Ale, nicely balanced. Pint at Bacchus, Newcastle.
