A collaboration brew with Glyn Roberts (The Rake Bar), Hadouken is our Amplified IPA. A dedication to the classic finishing move from one of our favourite video games from back in the 90’s. Massively hopped with a combo of 3 American varieties.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Amber body, a bit hazy. Small, white head. Unpleasant nose. Soap, Malt, metal body. Some blood. Hint of citrus. Doesn’t taste like a bad bottle, but I don’t think this one is intentional. Medium body. Soft carbonation. BBE 06 2017

Bottle from Hops & Crafts Exeter, pours pale slighly hazy gold with a big white head. Aroma of fresh pine, melon, lychee ,tangerine & grapefruit . Taste is piney hop, lychee, tangerine ,grapefruit rind ,lemon zest & some jaminess . Light bodied ,frothy the alcohol is well hidden ,this is dangerously drinkable ! The finish has more pine & juicy hop fruit flavours, jaminess , some dryness & bitterness . The best beer I’ve tryed from tiny rebel. Darn good!

Tap at Bevog Festival. Pours a hazy amber with a medium white-ish head. Aroma of tropical fruits, ripe red gooseberries, lychees, passion fruit, sweet malts. Taste is slightly tart with a light sweetness shining through, and a medium bitter finish. Well balanced, very pleasant. Body is medium to full, but feels very light - very drinkable. Lively medium carbonation.
This is actually one of my favourite new beers I had at the Festival. Although it’s quite strong, it feels pretty light. It’s very well balanced. There’s enough of a malt body to back the fruits and just enough bitterness for a nice, not overdone kick.

0,1l from tap at Bevog Festival shared by iznogud, big thanks. amber hazy color, small off-white head. smells fruity, light berry notes, light currant, lychee, mango. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of berry notes, light resin, bit caramel, some exotic fruits, mango. finishes lightly bitter with notes of resin and mango. liked the taste a bit better than the smell, nice piney notes. overall good.
