COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A collaboration brew with Glyn Roberts (The Rake Bar), Hadouken is our Amplified IPA. A dedication to the classic finishing move from one of our favourite video games from back in the 90’s. Massively hopped with a combo of 3 American varieties.

Golden beer with a strong hop aroma. Strong hop in the flavour but it’s surprisingly sweet. Very crisp and has a noce hoppy finish.

Give this brew some more gas, a bigger head, and this one should be one of my favorite IPA’s for sure. What a nice surprise!

Pours a clear amber coloured beer. Taste is bitter with a nice sweet malt backbone. Well balanced. Dry finish.

Small cream head, not very stable, over clear copper beer, big-bubbled. Rich caramel-liqueur-hops’ nose; waffle syrup and preserved orange/orangepeel. Bitter citruspeel with a fine caramelly background. Again very liqueurish - as Amaretto mixed with Mandarine Napoléon or Grand Marnier Triple Orange. Bit of chalk, preserved kumquat. Very slick-viscous, but finish is lighter, near spritzy Alcoholwarming. Nice!

Very good pale ale, amply hopped with a lovely full bodied flavour of grapefruit, peaches and honey. Slightly floral on nose, and a nice reddish opaque pour. A very good beer, hides the 7.4% pretty well

Pours golden with a thick ivory head. Aroma is intense: honey, roses, orange peel, apricot... Creamy, fizzy, bitter but not aggressive. Very nice.

Keg at The Holy inadequate, Etruria. A hazy orangey, amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of mango, orange, grapefruit, caramel and pine. Taste of mango, orange, grapefruit, some pineapple, resin, some caramel and spicy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and a soft carbonation. A dry, grapefruit flavoured bitterness in the finish. Tropical, citrus fruit hoppiness in the beer with some caramel sweetness. Complex but only ok, not as good as I thought from this brewery.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Poured into an English pint. Deep golden almost light brown color with a modest head that dissipated fairly quickly. Resin and pine aromas present with some earthiness and fruit on the nose as well. Slight taste of honey on the palate. Medium body with a full rich flavor on the palate. Well balanced between malt and hops. Smooth finish with modest carbonation.

33cl bottle at Beer is Food, Singapore on 28/03/15, poured into a sniffer glass. Dark copper amber colour. Aroma of hops, earthy grass and caramel. Medium sized white head which leaves some nice lacing on the glass when drinking. Good body. Hoppy flavours, with grapefruit, tropical fruit, molasses and a little malt. Bittersweet. Slightly spicy - a little bit of pepper burn remains on the palate. Pretty good, to be sipped slowly.

13.12.2014. Aroma of caramel malts, exotic fruits. Tastes passionfruits, pineapple, grapefruity hops, sweetish bitterness. Nicely balanced tasty IPA.

330ml bottle, which I really enjoyed Lively head, good retention, a little lacing. Decent aroma, but it’s all about that taste. Some strong IPAs strip your mouth, but this is sophisticated. Great taste of grapefruit, rich brown sugar. Bitter and hoppy, but pleasant mouthfeel and warm, happy feelings.
