Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours very dark brown with a sticky beige head. Nose is big pine and milk chocolate with moderate roast and hints of tropical fruits in pineapple and mango. Taste is sweet tropical fruit forward with light cocoa, dry earthiness and some tang. Balanced very nicely. Probably lacking a touch in bitterness but goes down easy. Nice stuff

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Clear deep red beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, pretty light. Hops are piney and spicy with a nice touch of citrus undeneath. Whispers of lime and floralness. Finishes semi dry with modest roast malt bitterness. Very drinkable.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’14. Dark brown with cream head. Initially there is a malty bitterness with a hint of liquorice and chocolate, this is superseded by hoppy flavours, tropical fruits and mango. Good stuff.

Cask at CPK - Pimlico, London. Big cheers to Mr. Bois for the tip. Pours dark brown with a frothy tan cap. Well toasted bread in the nose with just a modicum of piney hops. Light sweet flavor with good roasted malt character, burnt pine, toasted sugar and dark fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate dryness to finish with further dark fruits, darkened bread, light milk chocolate and subtle roast. Tasty. It’s like a black IPA lite. Nice bit of flavor but still very drinkable.

Cask @ Urban Taphouse, Cardiff. Extremely lively with cobwebs, lime, green tea, leaves and a citrus tingle. At least that’s what my notes say.
