Cask (Red House, Newcastle) - Very dark brown in colour. Pine, liquorice and roasted malt in the aroma. Soapy hops, fudge and liquorice dominate the taste. Very nice indeed.

Cask Hawkshead BF. This is a great subtle black IPA. Loads of flavour & definitely has some soft tropical fruit in there. Moreish finish, which linges nicely, with just a hint of bitterness. Really enjoyed this.

Cask at Craft Brighton, Saturday 8th March 2014 Pours dark brown with off-white head. A little pine resin on nose and in the mouth, some pithy citrus. This is fine but a little thin in the mouth and perhaps a little restrained A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours very dark brown with a sticky beige head. Nose is big pine and milk chocolate with moderate roast and hints of tropical fruits in pineapple and mango. Taste is sweet tropical fruit forward with light cocoa, dry earthiness and some tang. Balanced very nicely. Probably lacking a touch in bitterness but goes down easy. Nice stuff

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours a dark coca-cola colour with a slightly off white head. Aroma has a little toffee sweetness, a hint if coffee, mango, lycée. Light to medium body, mild carbonation, a little thin. Light treacle, licorice, touch of orange, lemon, toast, a bit of woodiness in the bitter finish. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
