COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our ‘Maori Pale Ale’ came together after months of experimentation with a very unique hop – Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Strong grape flavours are complimented by the sweet Munich malt, makings this beer crisp and refreshing.

Keg at smallBAR, Bristol. A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of orange, melon, passion fruit, subtle grape, some wheat and floral hops. Taste of melon, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, slight grain, some grape and floral hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A very refreshing and crisp beer. Good use of the Nelson Sauvin hop.

Foamy body, light malty. Refined aroma, despite being very hoppy. Floral, light fruit, nice fermentation aromas. Soft bitter, foamy mouth feel and that strangely works very well I have to say! In fact it’s my favourite part of this beer. Good brew! (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Thick white head a top a copper body. Sweet malts coming through followed by long bitter finish. Grapes, earth & wood. Rated by BrewTom

Pours a very light yellow. Nose is synthetic pineapple esters with grapey undertones. Taste is more of the same, with pear and grassy flavours. Mouthfeel is thin and quite watery. Very high carbonation but with a decent bitter finish.

Light gushing to thick, bit fluffy off-white head, fed by fine carbonation in clear copperish-orange beer. Very fruity nose, C-hops, but also banana - seems to be a T.R. yeast feature. Citrus, passion fruit, melon. Malt - but I would rather guess Crystal than Munich. Hops too, indeed grapey - typical N.S. Bit watery, though. MF is its weakest point. Carbonation is too omnipresent in this soda-like beer with some good hops and malt. Really not bad - but not great neither.

Davvero buona! Ale colore dorato dal profumo maltato, floreale e fruttato. Molto equilibrata e ben bilanciata. In bocca corpo medio con intenso sapore di crosta di pane. Molto molto beverina!

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, a bit grassy aroma. Light-bodied. Fruity, kind of acidic hoppyness. This is BBE 2016 but doesnt show Nelson Sauvin in full powa. Dissapointment.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This hazy golden beer pours with a large rocky foam head. It has lemon fruit and peppery hop flavours, malt, toffee and gentle woody notes followed by an earthy finish.

Bottle at home. Pours clear golden. Aroma is grapefruit, zest, citrus/grassy hops, floral malts. Taste is slightly sweet biscuity and floral maltiness, grapefruit, fruits. Bitter finish.

Some haze in a yellow orange body. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon and orange peel. Flavours of spritzy peach, grapefruit, lemon and gooseberry - all highlights of Sauvin. Good bitterness and strong gooseberry on the finish. A tasty devil this. An ideal session pint.
