COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our ‘Maori Pale Ale’ came together after months of experimentation with a very unique hop – Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Strong grape flavours are complimented by the sweet Munich malt, makings this beer crisp and refreshing.

Bottled. Yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly grassy and quite bready maltyiness to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, bready and some slight crisp biscuity maltiness as well.

Just a nice clear tasty pale ale. Grapes, some kiwi?, or I am thinking too much of NZ. Head is beautiful too. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis

The first breath takes you to Neslon Sauvin heaven with it’s full, crisp and citrus aromatic aroma. Wonderful.... untill the first hop blast disappears... then, will covered by the hops, a unpleasant cheesy tone breaks through. Buh! The taste is then clearly characterized by the tropical fruit mix, enhenced by an somewhat artificial gummibear taste (hidden in the hops again). Another thing that displeases me, the beer has no body and for an hop forward beer an disappointing slap finish. Even as this is an overhopped Pale Ale (no IPA) with a quite low ABV, there should be more than just a Neslon Sauvin facade.

On tap at Cirkus, Stavanger. Pours almost clear golden with a small white head. Weak grainy aroma with some citrus and piney hops. Taste is light sweet, decent dry citrus hops at the finish, soft carbonated, dry finish with oranges and tangerines, very good and well balanced beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a lacing, white head. Spicy, somewhat exotic aroma. Lightish body, minerally and yeasty with a dry but not overly bitter finish. An easy quaffer. 240216

Bottle. Pours pale orange with a full creamy white head. An intense fruity smell is coming right out of the bottle before even pouring it. Strong notes of grape fruit, grapes and champagne with passion fruit and some sour apple. Nicely balanced taste, pleasently light sweet with an also light bitter dry finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation and a very smooth mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing. Flavor is distinctive with an emphasis on grapes and light sweet notes of passion fruit. However, flavor and aroma are not overwhelming. The medium aftertaste is prolonging the drinking experience in a lighter fashion with aroma of grapes and light bitter taste.

Bottle. Sugary, floral, light oxidised (honey), some white grapes. Light, not too bitter but also not overly drinkable.
