3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. Light sunrise orange, slightly hazy, with an average, slightly creamy, moderately persistent bright white head. Not the freshest aroma, but quite interesting and unusual. Quite a bit of citrus, mild white grapes notes, yeast and fruit esters influence, some berries/sweet jam presence as well. Little maltiness in the background, very subtle. Kinda watery as expected, medium level of bitterness, and slightly maltier than the aroma indicated. Good dryness, lingering floral, fruity and semi-sweet aftertaste. Average carbonation, light to medium body, slightly creamy texture. Certainly a well balanced APA, nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle from Stockbridge Tap.
Appearance - golden with very little head.
Nose - white pepper and some overripe tropical fruit.
Taste - overripe melon and some toffee. It grows on you.
Palate - lack of carbonation but medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - looking at other reviews was bottling a problem with this one as it was less enjoyable than their other beers?

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Brewtique, Macclesfield. This beer is has a great white wine/grape nose coming though from the Nelson Sauvin hops. First taste is sharp with a lovely hoppy flavour. Great colour, super clear. Has a lovely balance as a beer, not much malt so the hops really shine. Great carbonation, lovely and refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
At just on cool this one went into a tulip all misty with a bad case of the sea monkeys floating about. Pastel orange in colour with a sudsy, messy, loose foam that daubs a thick lace. Definite Sauvignon wine character comes through in the nose - vinous with lychee, cumquat, apricot and peach coming through atop a hint of granola. Dowdy, cracker biscuit dominated palate is first impressions. Carbonation is biting but short lived becoming creamy as it heads south. No real definable bitterness on show. Vinous, tangy and a little cloying to be honest. Annoying, bready, cracker aftertaste. Light pine-wood, strong tooth-pick, hairy, cat-fur roughage with a hint of lychee. Too drabby to be enjoyable. Fruit esters and notes are lost up against the Hadouken I tried just prior to tastin this one. Average and a little disappointing. (33cL, BBE 10/14, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
