Our ‘Maori Pale Ale’ came together after months of experimentation with a very unique hop – Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Strong grape flavours are complimented by the sweet Munich malt, makings this beer crisp and refreshing.

Some haze in a yellow orange body. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon and orange peel. Flavours of spritzy peach, grapefruit, lemon and gooseberry - all highlights of Sauvin. Good bitterness and strong gooseberry on the finish. A tasty devil this. An ideal session pint.

Muddy golden color, no foam. The smell is shy and a little hoppy. The taste is delightfully hopped, nicely bitter. And is has a terribly irritating tartness that basically ruins the taste a second after you sipped it. Same goes for the aftertaste. Good try, keep trying.

Hazy orange color with unstable white head. Aroma is a bit wet cellar, grapefruits, tropical fruits, biscuity sweet malts. Taste is refreshing and fruity, but also biscuity. Oh damn. Shouldn’t skim other ratings. Now I found the glue aroma. Quite nice, on the heavier side for this ABV.

Flaska frĺn Ölcaféet Örebro. Gyllengul lite disig färg med liten vit skumkrona. Lätt doft av smultron och persika. Lätt vattnig, söt kropp. Väldigt minimalt kolsyra. Smak av passionsfrukt, grapefrukt, gräs och mandarin. Lätt lite syrlig efterbeska.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2016 12oz bottle from Liquors Hasegawa in Tokyo. Poured into an English tulip pint. Hazy amber color with a big marshmallow-colored soapy head. Strong mango, pineapple peach aroma with a hint of citrus. Very crisp on the palate. Hop-forward and dry finish, but can detect some sweetness from the malts as well. Superbly balanced.

Bottle, gold with a lacing head, nose is citrus, pepper, a hint of peach, dusty malt and a mustiness. Palate is dry-bitter with and astringent spicy citrus hoppiness over a golden malty sweet body with a hint of pineapple. Crisp and gassy.

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Pale amber with a crisp, light tropical fruitiness running throughout its character. Not much sourness or bitterness involved, but certainly not a stated brew in terms of its taste.
