330ml bottle. Pours an orange amber colour, foamy white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, grapefruit citrus, resiny hop. Taste is sweet malt caramel, floral, orangey citrus, pine with some lingering earthy bitterness. Creamy mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. An amber coloured beer with very strong rich orange marmalade and citrus fruity flavours, juicy fruits and a creamy, spicy, zesty and slight woody finish. Superb!

It was always going to struggle to keep pace. Have you ever tried to keep up with a human cannonball? Thought not. But, this was a great beer, it certainly has soul. I listened to Bad Brains whilst drinking this. Irie.

Pours golden honey colour, white head that thins quickly, slight carbonation. Citrus, bread nose. Smooth, balanced taste with a reasonable length and good bitterness. A good solid IPA.

Cask at Inn Deep. A dark amber ale with a slim head. Aroma was a pleasant malt and tasted like a pleasant ’mild’ ale with a nice metallic cleanness it seemed to me.

hmmmm Descriptions always can set you up to fail or at least miss the mark. Next level and Soulless gave me high hopes, however I am a little disappointed. If they weren’t on the label would it have started more positive? The aroma is chalky, banana and bit of lemon. The flavour is menthol and mint. Its not a bad beer in facts it is nice, just not next level. And certainly not Hadouken!

From a bottle, golden brown pour, small head and low carbonation. Aroma of citrus orange and passion fruits, with a bready, biscuity malt base. Quite a long bitter finish. Good hoppy IPA.

Cask, Derby Winter Fest 13. Slightly hazy golden with a thin foam. Aromas are grain and lemon tea with caramel. Honey with low pine and grassy notes. Flavours are sweet lemon and grain with light honey. Pineapple with bready yeast. Base biscuit malts. Very nice.
