Our IPA is a hop lovers’ delight! The perfect blend of pale and caramel malts makes Gen. Sherman a beautiful copper color. Generous amounts of Northern Brewer, Simcoe, Cascade, and Crystal hops gives this beer a huge citrus-like aroma and flavor, and a long-lingering finish.

Bottled. Pours cloudy amber. The palate sticky and medium bottle. The taste is floral cascade/centennial. Little spicy to it.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Clear 9-oz. plastic cup From: Liquor King in Fresno, Calif. Price: $7.99 for a 6-pack Purchased: March 31, 2016 Consumed: March 31, 2016 Misc.: No BOD on bottle or 6-pack Picked up on a trip to Fresno, Calif. Cautiously optimistic about Gen Sherman IPA. Reviewed at the Springhill Suites in Fresno. Poured a golden, honey, clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of fluffy, white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the cup. Lots of foamy, layered lacing on the sides of the glass. Excellent, thick retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.25) Smelled a mix of hops and malts, getting sugary caramel, Casccade hops, floral hops, earthy pine, some grassy, herbal hops and hints of orange blossom. Not a typical IPA. (Smell - 3.75) Taste was even maltier than the nose. Specifically got Cascade hops, caramel, soap, pine, earthy, bitter citrus rind, grassy herbal hops, floral hops, leafy vegetables, faint buttery malts and pretty boozy overall. (Taste - 3.00) Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Boozy, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.25) Did not like this one that much. Bummed that I have five more to drink. (Overall - 3.25) 3.33 76 B-

22 oz bottle 2/3/16 (Fresno) Pours orangish amner with a nice white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and citrus. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and easy to drink. Nice brew.

@Sequoia Fresno. Pretty standard IPA. Bitter hops, pine and a little spice with some bready malt to balance. Not bad, not great.

Pint. Some steakhouse in Selma. I thought not a bad us ipa option. Pretty hoppy, tasty. Not a classic by any means but a treat.

Draft. Beer starts with a strong citrus taste and finishes with a bitter hoppy flavor. Not bad, but would prefer a heavier IPA

A bit heavy on caremel malt, and has a rather mineraly finish, but overall not too bad.
