Our IPA is a hop lovers’ delight! The perfect blend of pale and caramel malts makes Gen. Sherman a beautiful copper color. Generous amounts of Northern Brewer, Simcoe, Cascade, and Crystal hops gives this beer a huge citrus-like aroma and flavor, and a long-lingering finish.

Bottle I picked up at the grocery store. I grew up in Fresno but until the other day never had anything from Tioga-Sequoia. Starts out with a mild mouthful of hops which seems light on the tongue. But the lackluster finish brings it down. Ok beer, will definitely have it again, but nothing special.

courtesy of Sandra Porchet and Jean-Philippe - pretty clear amber beer with a poor head retention; fairly hoppy aroma with notes of quince and tea, flowery; full-bodied, light sweet maltiness; solidly bitter, quite dry, long lasting bitterness and more notes of quince and plums - assertive and very good

Bottle courtesy of thebeerprophet. Perfect one finger white head with a nice pale golden color to the body. Uniform head that held for almost a minute; lacing is okay. Aroma is grapefruit, kumquat, and tangy unripened peach. Taste is boldly hopped, but the use of simcoe/cascade/crystal reminds me of citra and willamette. Slightly bitter, but with that nice unripened peach flavor as well. Mouthfeel is a tad watery.

On tap at Whole Lotta Brews Festival. Pours light blonde with a modest white head and a fruity aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a dry finish.

An OK IPA. Not a lot to brag about here. very grassy and malty. Misses citrus and floral notes I enjoy in other IPAs

Poured a dark, dull, even coppery brown. Was pretty hoppy with average bitterness. A fairly standard IPA by all accounts, but it’s good to see the valley getting into the beer game.

This is a solid IPA, one of the Central Valley’s best. Lots of citrus and pine notes. One of my favorite beers.

Bottle at Kings Canyon National Park. An OK IPA. Not bad, but not great. Enjoyable none the less.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a sticky white head. Smells a bit like grass. Some citrus peel and herbal hop notes, maybe a bit of soap. Incredibly grassy up front. There is a bit of sweet malt flavor to it, mostly bread. Some light line notes but not much bitterness.
