3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle of Keith’s from an offie in Norwich. Strawberry yeasty sweetness + earth and plastic aroma. Mostly smoky chocolate over red berry and blackcurrant fruit, some decent mild-like chocoate and smoke. Not enough happening for 4 malts and 3 hops, but an enjoyable bitter with no off notes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Bronze and clear. Slightly acidic and very flat. could have been quite pleasant if it wasn’t for the poor bottling.
Looks like a waisted opportunity.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask - ’The Shed’, Norwich. Poured amber with a slight but disappearing white head. Light tangerine aromas, earthy and yeasty behind followed by some grassy hops. Woody, nutty malts, mid fruits, toast and a dry grassy finish. Some carbonation brightens it up on the palate, light to medium in body with an OK finish.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off white head. Strange off malty aroma with a mild spiced hops note. Spiced and strange malty. Vegetable and citric finish. Herb and bitter into the far finish with a vague caramel malt presence. Strange.
