Commercial Description:
Cask, Regular;
Ginger is a bright pale amber coloured ale, nicely hopped with not too much bitterness. Fresh ginger is added near the end of brewing to give a light, fresh but not overpowering ginger flavour.

Cask at the paisley beer fest. Alround rating: Caramalt and biscuits, grassy bittering hop. I cant find any trace of ginger whatsoever.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. An almost clear orange beer with a thin layer of off-white bubbles for a head. There’s a touch of pale malt and citrusy hops in the aroma, but most of all it’s ginger. Loads of ginger, probably too much, but I liked it quite well. The flavor is much the same, and it also finishes with ginger. Some citrus and hoppy bitterness too. Medium body, with no carbonation. Due to the ginger? A quite nice beer. In a way. But there’s too much ginger in it, and contrarty to the commercial description, I find it overpowering. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fuly gone head. Acidic ginger aroma, quite uniform. Flat mouthfeel. Flavour is cleaning watery to soapy ginger in a very simplistic way. No more no less.

Bottle. Syrupy and golden looking beer with a strongish head. The aroma is firmly ginger and the flavour has hints of ginger with a bitter body and finish. Overall a reasonable beer.
