yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 1, 2008 Bottle, thx to Brugmansia. Pours a clear, dark brown body with just some beige bubbles for a head. Roasted, bonfire sour, dusty nose with some coffee. The flavor isn’t very pleasant, it has a strange sourish bonfire taste, and some coffee and roasted malt pulling in the right direction. Medium body, flat and dry. The finish goes in the same direction as the initial flavor. Gone bad? At least it didn’t suit my palate. (080823) faroeviking (4386), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 18, 2008 Botella. Deep dark brown colour with a short head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, bit coffee and caramel. Soft pleasant mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of chocolate with a good soft roasty maltiness, coffee and caramel. Dry roasty malty chocolate finish. Maria (4321), Thisted, Denmark Sep 17, 2008 TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Brugmansia. The color is dark brown with a red hue. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and a little chocolate. The mouthfeel is flat and the flavour has notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, a light sweetness and hints of fruit. It’s hard to believe, that this isn’t a porter. plovmand (672), Helsinge, Denmark Aug 29, 2008 Bottle at Ulfborg RB tasting. Thanks Brugmansia! Poured dark brown with no head.
