Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Nov 20, 2006 BCA (From Southwick Brewhosue, BB Dec 06). Massive meringuey head atop golden liquid which fortunately died down to more drinkable proportions. Lovely hoppy start apricoty and orangey citrus hops with a deeper almost earthy spice element. Biscuity malt flavours are present but dry and leave the focus on the delicious hops which with the moderate hopping level leave you wanting another and at this strength why not. StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England Feb 28, 2006 A light golden brown beer with a weak white head. The nose is fruity, with hints of peaches and citrus fruits, there is also a hoppy element in the finish. The taste is dry, bitter and hoppy, with the citrus fruits coming through from the aroma, along with a peachy flavour, the aftertaste is dry but smooth and very fruity.
