sm89walt (176), Norwich, Norfolk, England May 3, 2008 Cask - Fat Cat, Norwich. A hazy amber coloured beer with a reasonably small and frothy, light beige head. Dry malt overtones here, a degree of nuttiness to compliment the fruity notes. Also a certain dry, citric character in both aroma and taste. A dry, mildly spicy finish with a slight bitterness. Easy on the palate and rather quaffable. RichardGretton (2638), Leicestershire, England Mar 5, 2008 Bottle. Orangey brown beer with a light head. The aroma is szechuan peppery, and the flavour is gently dry. Overall a poor dry’ish beer. leaparsons (3906), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jan 11, 2007 Bottle. Hazy, muddy red and brown with no head. Aromas are sweet toffee, oranges and hops with floral, woody and nutty noes. Flavours are very floral with toffee, oranges and yeast. Sweet and sour, woody and nutty. Dry and bitter on the finsh. Decent. StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England Feb 28, 2006 A light orange-yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A distinctly floral violet-like, hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus. The taste is sweet, slightly cloying, malty and nutty. There is a touch of the floral hoppy element in the aftertaste, that is long on the palate. Bottle conditioned, purchased from the brewery’s stall at the 2005 Royal Norfolk Show.
