3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand-pulled pint in The Kings Head, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013.
Amber with a copper twist, the head beige and lasting.
Malts ruled the nose and taste, not sweet but certainly not a dry hop bitter brew either. The malts gave the beer a fruity and biscuity feel.
Mildly interesting and easy to drink. Nicely balanced and well put together.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Attractive copper colour. The emphasis is on dry malt with some nutty and plummy notes. Some diacetyl in the aroma. Finishes a bit sweet. Pleasant enough but not very exciting. Cask (gravity), Catford beer Festival, June 2005.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask - Fat Cat, Norwich. A hazy amber coloured beer with a reasonably small and frothy, light beige head. Dry malt overtones here, a degree of nuttiness to compliment the fruity notes. Also a certain dry, citric character in both aroma and taste. A dry, mildly spicy finish with a slight bitterness. Easy on the palate and rather quaffable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask@Catford Beer festival. Apple/berry aroma. The fruit in the aroma is there subtley on the palate.Malty, rather than hoppy. A touch of citric hops in the finish. Not too bad in the end, but could do with a bit more body/flavour.
