COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Back into the Emptiness is our rose-hued Saison fermented in local wine barrels with French Policeman grapes grown by our pal Tom Culton at Culton Organics in Lancaster. PA. Fermented with our house microflora from Lancaster, PA. Back into the Emptiness, Forever!

Our beers are equally inspired by the farmhouse brewers of France and Belgium and the pioneering, heavy handed brewers of America. We produce our beer in small batches, twelve legs at a time.

Bottle (dregs)... This beer lifts!... Pours murky and milky with a subtle tinge of rosé and a small, brief, white head. The flavor is bready with boatloads of fruity, acidic, red wine notes. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and nearly expired carbonation. The flavor is super-tart, fruity and bready with woody funk and a vinous note. Thanks goes out to newcigarz for popping the top off this world-class bottle of brew!

Bottle from brewery via unknown. Pours a golden amber, little no of off white head. Aroma lambic-like, very funky, with some grape esters. Body lively and finish bright and vinous, somewhat tart, tannic.

Bottle at James’ for the multi-K tasting. Pours a faintly hazed amber gold with a thin white head. Soft musk, tart acid, a bit of grapes. Medium bodied, sweet grape into delicate funk and soft acid. Musk, tart acid. Lovely. 2 for 2.

A - pours hazy golden orange with 1 finger of head. S - nice micro flora! Yeast, buggy and awesome. Bright grape juice. Also notes of fake grape juice, and fluoride mouthwash. Some citrus fruitiness. M - thicker body with some texture. Slick and lemony tart. Fluffy carb. T - nice fruity saison. The yeasty buggy notes blend well with the citrus fruits and grapes. Lemon and orange juice with zest. White grape juice and fresh red grapes. Fruity like a champ. White wine and musty oak on the back end. O - a little muddled. Not their top tier but very good. 3.9 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden with zero head and thus zero lacing. Nose is fruity and spicy with a little of acetic like OOtE but this time a little tamer. Taste is sour of course, feels fruity and juicy, a little perfumey. This must be the grapes but they weren’t that distinctive. Acidity level is out of style for a "saison". Body was light, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel just juicy. Good but not my favorite of this serie!

Bottle (500 ml). Thanks to John for this one! Slightly hazy glowing golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of grapes, wine oak, light rustic notes and nice fruitiness. Taste is also of grapes, oak, wine, rustic notes and mild tartness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oaky mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Nice and tasty barrel-aged Saison. Good complexity. Easily drinkable.
