3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark copper amber color with a medium sized creamy head. Nose has a strong spicy, bready and yeasty saison base with a strong bitter citrus hop finish. Probably should have started with this beer the day i was there instead of having it last since it seemed a little boring by comparison to others, but by no means disappointing. Flavor is a maltier saison, strong earth and spices with a resin hop finish. Medium light body with appropriate carbonation with a crisp, dry finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Tired Hands the first time I went with Vinny and Tom. Pours murky brownish red with a bit of cream-colored head and lace. Aroma is blood orange peel, some bitter lemon zest and Belgian yeast, some subtle spice. Taste is very slightly funky with a ton of citrusy, bitter hops in the finish. Palate is firm without being cloying. Interesting beer.

Thanks to yourefragile. Served in a Tired Hands wine glass. Medium amber. Short head. Earthy nose with some citrus. Dry with a good bitterness. Nose is my favorite part.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Tired Hands with Tom and Pat. Pours a murky glowing plum color, no head, good lace. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, coriander, saison yeast and other spice. Taste is hoppy for a saison, very fresh, balanced well. A little bit of rye, tired hands was a very simple rustic place.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4 oz draft at Tired Hands. Pours light brown with thin off white head and lacing. Nose is very light caramel malt and a slight funk of saison yeast. Taste caramel malt, hop bitterness is present but the slightly floral hops are pretty muted, with a bit of a metallic finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear copper in color with a bright white head. The aroma has light sweet notes, almost like a wheat field from the saison yeast. The flavors of a lighter hoppy red ale come through on a clean body saison yeast notes to round out the brew. Nice on a hot July day in PA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a slightly red amber color with a thin head. Aroma that is most noticeably hoppy and spicy. A touch sweeter and fruitier than the other saisons sampled.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a rich copper red with a thin head. Aroma of hops and Belgian yeast. Taste follows good balance between the spiciness of the yeast and the bitterness of the hops. Fairly light but doesn't skimp on flavor.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Solid amber body with a moderate sized cream colored head. Nice soapy lacing. Nose is full of quintessential case hops, blend of citric notes and a bit of grapefruit rides on top of a mellow grainy, saison base. Flavor is similar with citric and delicate floral notes present. A bit muted towards the finish. Medium to light bodied, appropriately carbonated, rounded finish.
