Growler shared by yourefragile. Thanks! Pours a clear dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of rich coffee notes, bitter hops, floral citrus and earthy notes. The taste is coffee, bitter hops, smoke, chocolate and honey. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. India black coffee saison. This batch at 6.9% abv. Local coffee that generates a good coffee aroma. Black bodied and lacey. Above average mouthfeel. Very coffee yet well done and tasty for what it is.

Growler shared by yourefragile: Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing froth of beige head. Has a roasty complex coffee and dark malty nose with some light fruits and floral hops. Starts with good fullness and sweet caramel malts with a good dose of roasted coffee bittterness, some light fruity esters and crisp citrusy hops. Finishes drier and bittersweet with lingering coffee notes. A unique concept and well done.

Growler pours a hazy, deep mahogany with some clumpy tan head. Great coffee nose, dank, brown sugar, coffee grounds, nutty, light molasses. Flavor is solid, brown sugar, toasted bread, coffee, cola, cake icing. Medium bodied, dry finish.

Murky brown with a medium sized, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, dark fruits, roast, and faint spices. Taste of coffee up front, some roast, cocoa, and spices, with a dry finish.

Growler courtesy of yourefragile. Served several times into a sampler glass. Pours near-black with a nice tan head and good lacing. Thin collar throughout. Nose has a really excellent combination of chocolate, roast, coffee, and piney hops. Really beautiful. Flavor adds together the same components with a slightly-heavier emphasis on the hops with the coffee coming underneath. A light earthiness to it as well, especially as it warms. Just a touch of fruit in the background. Medium body. Dry and somewhat-bitter. Very interesting concept and strong execution. This one did not hurt. Excellent work, Jean.

Missed this the first time around, pours black with thin off-white head light lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt, espresso bean, pepper and cheese dip, and bitter pine. Lighter to medium body. Reminds me of an iced coffee with some hops. Solid
