Draft at TH. What a beer! Smell is coffee, tobacco, vegetal mix...Taste is a mix of those. There’s a distinct savory quality here. I kept coming back to tobacco as well. Leather is a good descriptor, too. Solid.

32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a murky dark brown color with a small foamy tan head. Aroma of rich roasted coffee beans, old chocolate, and a hint of earthy hops. Taste of light roasted coffee, earth, hints of sour citrus, and bitter old chocolate. Definitely unique and different, but tasty and crushable! Good stuff

Missed this the first time around, pours black with thin off-white head light lacing. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt, espresso bean, pepper and cheese dip, and bitter pine. Lighter to medium body. Reminds me of an iced coffee with some hops. Solid

A wheat-based hoppy coffee saison. Wtf is going on here?! Whatever this is, I like it. Darker with more body than every stout Central Waters has ever made. Handsome brown head leaves saison-esque lace, but that’s where the similarities to a saison end. Crazy aroma of deeply roasted coffee and roasty malts. Black coffee on the palate. Smooth, roasty, hoppy, dry, highly sessionable. Equal parts weird and good. Goddamn it Tired Hands, stop making awesomely creative beer. You’re gonna bankrupt me.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. India black coffee saison. This batch at 6.9% abv. Local coffee that generates a good coffee aroma. Black bodied and lacey. Above average mouthfeel. Very coffee yet well done and tasty for what it is.

Growler shared with Ernesto. Pours an ugly swamp water with small tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans and spicy spruce hops. Taste is very interesting with some light sweetness and mild tartness, that I wish wasnt there. Overall very unique and tasty brew.
