The second installment in our Darwin series. Brewed with rye and a good dose of galaxy hops. Very peachy and floral. Fermented with strains of Brettanomyces from Chad Yakobson at Crooked Stave.

Many thanks to Colin and Kerry for holding onto this one for me. Lightly hazy golden body, large frothy white head, nice soapy lacing. Nose is a strong blend of Brett notes. Lemon, wet hay, light must dominate. Flavor is nice and juicy with nice musty notes. Medium to light bodied, clean carbonation, light acidity creeping in. Looking forward to continued development in this solera.

On tap at Tired Hands. Misty yellow orange with a pocked white head. Nose is citrus, custard and grass; quite subtle. Crisp, clean, medium light with sparkling carb. Taste is dusty, husky, lemon peel and quinine. Opens up with warming allowing some peach to come out.

Thanks to Erik for bringing me a growler of this one! Beautiful light, clear lemon drop colored pour. Nose and flavor brings beautiful quenching acidity with an awesome nectar fruit character including apricot and peach, along with tangerine, clementine, and white grapefruit. Extremely crisp and refreshing. So yummy. I want this all summer long.

Draft at tired hands with Linh, pat and Janine. Pours a bright hazy yellow with thin white lacing. aroma is grass, hop and funk. Mouthfeel is medium and crisp with notes of funk, hop and grass. Reminiscient of Stillwater’s Premium - very nice, sessionable Brett-infused brew.

Aroma is fruity, bubblegum. Appears cloudy, pale, straw yellow. Taste is slightly funky and bitter. Has some Saison quality. Slightly lemon. Smooth. Dry. Easily drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler thanks to craftycarl21. Pours a clear, light pale golden. Medium white foam with thicker sheets of lacing. Nose is pineapple, fresh peach, tangerine, sweet cream butter, vanilla. Very mild white wine funk. Taste is bitter, fresh grapefruit rind and tangerine juice. Palate is quenching, refreshing. Really nice overall but I wouldn’t call this a sour or wild. More saison.

Tap at Tired Hands, Pours light murky straw gold. Aromas are salty sea, beachy yeast, blood orange, and peach citrus. Taste is delicious fruity brett, bitter grapefruit, spicy bread and more earthy tones. Medium body. I love brews that remind me of the shore and you can’t go wrong with galaxy hops. Cheers

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium creamy white head..nice lacing...rings the whole way down. Aroma has good bretty funk and tart peachiness. Flavor is more rindy/grapefruity/rindy with nice bretty notes...not tart like the aroma mildly suggests...hints of earthy rye spice and stonefruit peek through. Mouthfeel is light and creamy with a bretty/rindy dry finish that bitters significantly.
