Shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.
The beer is hazy and yellow with a soft white head. The aroma offers tropical fruit, floral hops, simply amazing. Wow. I could smell this all day. The flavor does not quite live up to the promise of the aroma. That said, this is a very good beer. Light and refreshing. I could drink a crazy amount of this.

Wax top bottle from the release shared with jtclockwork at Kane’s Celebration of the Stout. Poured a hazy pale yellow with an average sized foamy bright white head. Aroma of white wine, slight spice, eraser rubbings, whole peppercorns, slight oak. The body was super delicate with light carbonation and a quicker fading aftertaste. The flavor is as delicate as the aroma, notes of lemons, white wine, light spice and some wood on the end. Good beer but it’s just a bit to delicate overall for my taste.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 Re-rated after trying 2 other bottles with more carbonation than the first one. Bottle (500 ml). Thanks to Sarge3130 and Holland for this one! Hazy glowing yellow (ala Hill Farmstead) with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of white wine, fruits (peaches, mango), funky notes, lemon zest and slight Saison yeast. Taste is also of white wine with peaches, mango, lemon zest, funky notes and wheat. Mouthfeel is dry and winey. Moderate carbonation. This is a really good barrel aged Saison. Very complex, well balanced, refreshing aplenty and drinkable. Great!

Bottle shared by tom10101, thanks a lot Tom! Pours a cloudy yellow, like some liquid lemon curd if that makes sense. Aroma is enticing with its vinous, sour and wild components. I got a lot of brett on the nose with a nice peach-like overall feel to it (must be the white wine). Taste-wise it is only mildly sour and really quenching/quaffable. Peaches and tropical fruits show up again in the flavor, which gives it a nice summer feel (this would be a perfect outdoors beer I think). Overall a really really nice saison, one that I’d drink more often if I could!

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 Bottle shared by tom10101. thanks a lot! Pours a cloudy blond with small head and small lacing. Aroma of funk, pears, lemon, wood. Taste is lite and fresh with brett, lemon, oak, a little grassy finish. Mouthfeel is low like the carbonation. Overall a very good beer but I wish it had a bit more carbonation.

Bottle... Cloudy straw-colored pour with a small, flimsy, white head. The aroma is a funky and fruity assortment of citrus, semi-sharp cheese, must and lemon zest. Light to medium-bodied and watery with tingly carbonation. The flavor is tart and citrusy with a slight woody nuance. Finishes tangy and tongue numbing. Big-time kudos to ctipping for providing this beer!

Bottle shared by DMac at Kane’s. Pours yellow gold with white head. Nose is great - lots of lemon zest, light breads, saison yeast and white wine. Some oak. Taste is same but more muted. Body is very delicate - like a flower.
