Bottle... Cloudy straw-colored pour with a small, flimsy, white head. The aroma is a funky and fruity assortment of citrus, semi-sharp cheese, must and lemon zest. Light to medium-bodied and watery with tingly carbonation. The flavor is tart and citrusy with a slight woody nuance. Finishes tangy and tongue numbing. Big-time kudos to ctipping for providing this beer!

Damn what a beer. Thank you so much Josh Young. I mean THANK YOU! Pours a hazy yellow color with a nice white head. Aroma of saison yeast, dry white wine, light oak, yeast, grassy notes sneak in. Flavor is so unique and awesome. I get a hint of white wine, some wild grapes, oak, yeast, light vinegar notes...the balance of this beer is stunning. Wow.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 GT2 (5661) - Riverslime, California, USA - JAN 14, 2013
500mL green wax from yesterday’s release. Pours a glowing, chill haze champagne/cider golden with spritzy carbonation. Small, white head formation. Delicate lacing. Nose right off the bat is soft and beautiful: pina colada, pineapple, orange blossom, fresh Hawaiian roll, fresh dough, sweet cream butter. Similar nose to Hill Farmstead Civil Disobedience 1 and Ann. No joke. Not really Bretty or funky even- straight delicate nectar fruits, incredible house yeast, even some earthy pepper/spice. Taste is spritzy, champagne crispness, very light bodied and quenching like lemonade/limeade with mild coconut and sweet roll. Finish adds some moderate bitterness, some bread crust, "spicy" rye rustic note. But overall, this is one mega delicate and soft saison that is ultra quenching and refreshing. Palate is buoyant, almost cloud-like. Perfect for the style. One of the closest ever Hill Farmstead style saisons. Sadly, this is going to be hard or impossible to ever have in a big monster tulip glass. Perhaps the millionaire’s lawnmower beer. Am I trying to hype this? Actually, after trying this I don’t think I’m trading any of my bottles :p

(500ml bottle) clearish light gold, fine white bubbles. Nose of chardonnay barrels, coriander, pretty well spiced, not as complex as i’d hoped. Taste has light wine barrels, coriander, cilantro, spices, lightly tart, presence of brett.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Thorpe429 (4844) - , Illinois, USA - JAN 13, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2013 Bottle into Tired Hands stemware. Pours a moderately-hazy straw color with a nice white head. Good retention and some mild lacing. The nose begins with a bit of white wine and a bit of oak. Touch of tannin and light saison yeast. Mild sulfur in the background.
Flavor showcases the wine barrel fermentation. Great wine character carries through the base. Body is incredibly smooth, providing a nice wheat background underneath mild flavors of white wine and oak, plus a faint bit of lemon and slight tartness. Body is light with a very dry finish. Very slight bitterness. Super drinkable. Love it.
