Growler shared by GT2 at Kickbacks. Cheers, GT! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some caramel, big tropical fruit, some lemon, and some citrus. Flavor follows with a nice burst of lemon, citrus, citrus pith, sweet caramel, and tropical fruit. Light in body, sessionable, and enjoyable as hell.

Growler shared by GT2 at kickbacks welcome dinner for RBWG Jax. I love Tired Hands and Hill Farmstead because they make kick ass ipa’s and funky saisons, my two favorite styles at the moment. This one was no different and I LOVE LOVE that it’s only 5.5%. Sickly good beer here, like pretty much everything I’ve had from Jean and co.

On tap at the brewpub. Weakly citrus aroma. This fell through for me. It starts light, fluffy, airy with hopeful notes of lemon, but then evaporates into thinness. There’s a slight citric acidity that is most of the body, making it feel like fermented out lemonade. The hops never punch through and there’s not much of a malt body to hold up the hop structure. Drinkable, but thin, and little light on flavor, I think.

Poured into a Russian River snifter from a 64 oz Growler - Thanks TheEpeeist for a great trade! Growler filled to the brim and poured extremely pale and light golden colors with huge creamy white head. The head dissipates leaving lacing on the side of the glass. Huge nose of grain, straw, wheat, oats, earthy hops. Big honey aroma and orange marmalade hiding in there. First sips taste of lemon zest, grain, really soft carbonation, somewhat creamy mouth feel. Finishes with a little grass, hay flavor and light floral hops. The honey and grain flavor linger on the back of the throat. Really light and unique.

1 liter growler thanks to Sean for sharing... Pours a pale semi-transparent hue and topped with a soapy white head... Aroma of Belgian saison yeast with a lighter citrus and subdued dank hoppy notes but not a totally assertive hop profile considering the hop bill. Light and clean with a bit of earthy lemony essence... Flavors are more of the same with more lemongrass lightly spiced feel with more of a Belgian yeast feel to it. Lean lighter bodied and once again quaffable. Wish the hops came more into play with the profile that was used.

On draft at the source.
The beer is light golden with a small white head. Citrus, hops, honey, light sweet. Flavor is refreshing and tasty. A hint of sweetness balanced by hop bitterness. Mild honey character is elegantly done. Light in body with some citrus and hops lingering in the finish. A solid beer from Tired Hands.
