Thanks to yourefragile for the growler. Served in Tired Hands stemware. Pours a moderate caramel color, but is thankfully not very malty. Nose has strong pine, resin, and citrus peel in the nose. Flavor is more bitterness. Good citrus. Quite heavy there. Super dry. Very nice DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

murky amber-brown, white island with thick ring and ample lacing. Super earthy nose, oily pine, mint, and grapefruit. Flavor of earth and grapefruit up front, light cheese and citrus across mid-palate, pine strong through the end. Bit puffy profile, chalky. Still quite dry, "aggressive" hops just aren’t my thing anymore.

Tap at Tired Hands. Pours a murky, deep amber tea. Thick, off white dense, creamy foam. Nose brings heavier oatmeal, maple, and strawberry juice. Taste is very dense and nutty. Very aggressive bitterness. Malty and rich body tries to support an IBU smackdown. Mango and strawberry style hoppiness. Denser, thicker palate. Sort of the opposite direction I would expect Tired Hands to take for IPA. HopHands was significantly better.

On tap at Tired Hands with Vinny. Pours deep copper orange with a creamy, tightly-bubbled khaki head. Aroma of bubble gum, orange zest, grapefruit, and some grassy, floral, and honey notes. Taste is creamy, bitter hop resin with some light pine and orange zest. Palate is smooth, supple, and very supportive of the bitter hop profile. Finish is effervescent, light, and earthy. Love this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2015 On tap at TH, pours a very murky brown copper, small white head with good soapy lacing. Aromas and taste of heavy pine, grapefruit, bitter centennial and cascade hops, roasty grains, and wood. Very bitter finish, warming for 7 percent. Wish the simcoe and amarillos had more of a presence. Drinkable but not for me. Original rate 8/2012. Tried again in ’15. chestnut pour with creamy white head, medium in size. Taste is a bit sugary with some resinous pine, light candy, sugar, and lemon rind. Light to medium body. nice aftertaste, better than batch 1. Moved up a few notches
