Hazy dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, citrus fruits, and light toasted malts. Taste of citrus, pine, toffee, and light grapefruit in the finish. Great session here.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2012 On tap at the brewpub, pours a cloudy, light golden color, not much head or lace. Mostly stale, and bland hop notes, pretty bitter, just not much to grab on to in this beer. Fresh and light, but an easily forgotten pale for me

On tap at Tired Hands. Pours a nice golden color with a good white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carries wonderful notes of pine, grapefruit, and oranges. Incredibly complex for a beer of this strength. At the same time, it’s not overbearing. Flavor has a touch of malt in the background and finishes with a beautiful spread of citrus flavors and pine. Light body with good carbonation and a firm bitterness. Incredibly sessionable.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Hazy golden-yellow body, inch thick white head. Balanced nose of lemon, grapefruit, pine, tea, and grass. Flavor matches with orange, grapefruit and pine taking center stage while a delicate pale malt base provides a pleasant backdrop. Medium to light bodied. A little thin, with a mellow bitterness in the finish.

Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma has light orangey hoppiness. Flavor is like delicately hopped orange juice without the sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and lively with a refreshing crisp finish.

On tap at Tired Hands the first time I went with Tom and Vinny. Pours copper-orange golden with a nice, sudsy, almost creamy white head. Aroma of insane pine resin, grass, orange peel, and some subtle tropical fruits; papaya and mango. Amazingly hoppy, citrusy flavor profile, with a light, crisp, silky smooth body. Very insane how hoppy this is for the low ABV. This is like the Scrappy Doo of American Pales. Fuckin’ awesome. Love Tired Hands’ pale ales.

Poured golden in color with a bright white head. Aromas of grapefruit, orange rind, and fresh citrus hops. So much flavor for a sessionable beer!

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2013 Served on-tap at the brewery and later out of a growler. This will be a combination of the two.

A - Pours golden yellow with a nice one finger tall white head leaving small streaks of lace down most of the glass.

S - This one has a ton grassy hops, fresh citric fruit, some pale malt and some pine resin. This one is really hoppy yet still well balanced.

T - Starts off with a big dose of hop bitterness that never really goes away. Hints of pale malts, fresh tropical fruits - mostly grapefruit - and some lemon and orange zest. A bit of pine resin creeps in at the end of each sip.

M - Smooth, hoppy feel with moderate carbonation. The low ABV. of this one makes it incredibly easy to drink, add in the hops and you have one great beer.

O - A low ABV. hop forward pale ale you say? Sounds like heaven to me. When I first ordered this Jean said it would be the best beer I had all day, little did I know he was right. Awesome stuff for sure.
