4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Big fruity hops, especially in the nose, lighter piney and floral notes. Light wheaty malty base, and more fruity sweetness in the finish, with medium bitterness in the finish as well. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft to snifter (shared with the group; thanks watson1977). Looks good; a hazy light gold with white lacing. Smells GOOD; lots of mange and some hops to boot. Tastes like it smells, but milder; still good, but the flavors don’t marry the same way as they do on the nose. Nice on the palate with a pleasant, dry finish. The taste might not be quite what the nose is, but it’s still damn good beer.

growler from tom10101, many thanks! cloudy pale yellow with a small white head, some retention and lacing. mango upfront (surprise!), tropical and citrus fruitiness, touch of grass and pine, nice clean pale malts, but almost cloying remaining sugars. average to soft carbonation, light to medium body, very juicy, and sweet, but nice tropical finish. nice offering!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewery pours a mostly clear gold with some white head. Nose is interesting, some funky fruit, some lemon, passion fruit, mango, a little pissy. Flavor follows, lemon, some tangerine, mango, passion fruit, soap. Oily finish. A little odd.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler courtesy of Ken! Pours a bright, murky cloudy whitish orange body with nice white lacing. Aroma is fresh mango, stems, almost a touch vegetable, and fresh bright citrus hops. Mouthfeel is soft and sessionable with wonderful notes of mango, citrus fruits, and light floral notes. The fruity mango flavor is perfectly balanced by the citric hop. One of the best Tired Hands beers I’ve tried.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
4 oz draft, Copenhagen Brewfest, Boston. Hazy bright yellow color. Aroma of mangoes, pineapples, and passionfruit.
Flavor is heavy on the fruit and large mango presence. Pine hop is here but struggles to get through the fruit. Medium body with maybe a trace of sugar. Sweet and fruity but highly drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the taproom, 6/11/16, as MagoMagoTagoTago.
Seems to me this is marketed as a distinct beer and should be separate, but I certainly don’t care.
Deep canteloupe-peach-golden body is topped by a small, but fairly dense, off-white head. Quite hazy.
Light pine, juicy mango and a hint of vanilla and honey. Definitely seems on the sweet side, again, from the nose, and again has a dull, bready, sort of tired/stale quality to it. Maybe these beers have an ultra-short life and we got the tail-end? I do know it was the tail-end of the Papaya Milkshake batch. Anyhow, this one had some more bright fruit notes in the nose than the papaya with no alcohol or flaw.
Sweet mango up front is complemented by moderately bitter simcoe hop notes of grapefruit, cherry, melon and pine. Would go over better but for the rather mushy malts, overly sweet character overall, and somewhat loose carbonation.
