Bottle thanks to TheEpeeist. Pours opaque black, small tan head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is light roasty, green peppers, dusty, wood. Flavor is quite odd, dry and light bitter, dusty, roasty, peppers here too, lots of woodiness. Gets better as it warms for sure. Lightish body, high carbonatoin.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours black with little to no head. The olfactory standouts are liquid fudge and rye whiskey. Full-bodied and creamy with zippy carbonation. The flavor is smooth and warming, flanked by a chocolaty, bittersweet, boozy-rye finish. Yet another world class beer supplied by landhoney!

Bottle shared by Lunch. Thanks Paul! The beer is near black with an inch+ of dense, beige head. the aroma brings a potent dose of whiskey, followed by vanilla, bread, oak, chocolate. Again, big whiskey flavor, followed closely by rye bread and chocolates. Huge barrel characteristics. A bit tannic in the finish with lingering booze on the palate. Overall, a really solid beer.

16.9 oz bottle. Dark brown with a thick and foamy tan cap leaving lacy garlands. Nose is wood, prune and molasses. Soft medium body with a fuzzy tang. Taste is fig, oak, rye whiskey, raisin and coffee. Not as sweet as the base beer with balance from the whiskey and smoothness from the barrel.

Bottle shared with and thanks to phillycraft. Pours dark brown with a beautiful brown lacy head. Aroma is whiskey, chocolate, roast, vanilla and toffee. Incredibly smooth. So much chocolate in the finish. Moderate, not overly sweet. Moderate bitter aswell but the aroma stays for so long. Full bodied, sticky texture and soft carbonation. Great!

Bottle at home with friends, courtesy of Dave. Thanks man! Pour is lightly hazy brown with a small tan head. Roasty, herbal, woody, light cocoa, dark fruits, herbs, leathery, and coffee in the aroma. Taste is roasty, light spice, cocoa, espresso, a hint of whiskey, toffee, raisins, and caramel with a lightly roasted finish. Syrupy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Nice stuff.
