16.9 oz bottle. Clear peachy pink with white froth. Nose is chardonnay, sour plum and oak. Oily medium body with a dull sparkle, peppery bite and bracing tartness. Taste is green plums, plum skins, meadow botanicals, wine and slight funk. Lovely hints of sweet fruit. Evocative of nature like a good gueuze.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle @ La Palma Sour Fest 2015. Sort of a dark orange colored beer with some white foam. There’s a good bit of fruity, tangy, vinous aroma to this. A touch of grape skin, some plum, and even a bit of cherry. Subtle yeast, perhaps oak, and some citrus zest. Nice sourness to the taste. Pretty dry finish, too. Nice stuff.

Bottle @ 5 Kay, 7.5 Kay, 10 Kay Tasting. Deep gold pour with a small head. Nose is pretty bright. Peach skin and musty oranges. Mandarin fruit tart. Taste begins with sharp lemon. Herb garden and delicate jasmine tea hop character shows. Pretty juicy, easily crushable. Light and zippy. Quite good.

Thanks Chris for sharing.
A - Hazy dark plum color, a nice purple appearance.
S - Tart, fruity aroma with a little ethanol / nail polish.
T - Taste expresses oak, wet cardboard, some mold, good solid plum but nothing significant.
M - Good mouthfeel from the bottle conditioning.
O - Zero tartness except for the plum. Wish this was more exciting but it’s interesting.

500 ml traded to me by Reggiedunlop. Thanks Kerry! Darker brown,/ hazy Amber with a very thin lasting head. Aroma shows me mild oak with a surprising amount of juicy plum! Flavor is Very nice, the juicy plum sweetness right upfront. The funkiness is still subtle and mild through the center. The wine barrel is also here with a light red wine character that lingers just slightly.
The mouthfeel has medium carbonation with a medium body. Very mild acidic note that is not distracting at all. Overall I really enjoyed sipping on this. Thanks a lot Kerry and Jean! very finely crafted, happy to have sampled this!
