UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Lightly hazy yellow body. Large white frothy head, good lacing. Nose is generally floral and citric. Of the ingredients, only the rose character comes through individually. Flavor is similar, with a nice pleasant floral and lemony character. Medium to light bodied, mellow carbonation, clean finish.

Draft at the brewery with James, Pat, and Ann. Pours a hazy gold with a lasting head. Aroma is a very nice mustiness. Taste is a great balance between the saison yeast and light malts in the beer. Great example of a saison.

Tinco (578) - Linköping, SWEDEN - SEP 29, 2012
Pours a cloudy yellow, saison like, foamy white head. Aroma is nice green apple tartness, berries, complex funky yeast. Taste is farmhouse, flowers, yeast, hay, barnyard, slight tartness, rhubarb, flowers, nice almost overripe bitternesss. A very hard beer to describe! Lite this one!

Capa (2031) - Manama, BAHRAIN - SEP 29, 2012
Herbal, floral, spicy, yeasty. This was a fun and complex saison. A bit sweet in the middle but drys out. A touch of the rye but it is mostly just for fun. Real nice. Side-note. The night I was here (tonight) it was selling a ridiculous amount. THe owner said it was selling better now than it ever had before and was usually a middle of the road offering. Not sure if that means anything but it was definitely ON tonight.

On tap at Tired Hands with Dallas, Ann, and James. Pours clearish gold with a fuzzy white head. Aroma is must, sweat, sweet corn, and yams. Taste is very sweet with a bit of chalky, dry hippiness on the finish. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Damico (2694) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2012
The saison pours hazy golden with a light amber hue. The aroma brings herbal sweet and floral notes from the 5 Rs and some wild-like saison yeast. The flavor brings flowers, rhubarb fruity notes, and the saison yeast. The body is solid, not overbearing or syrupy, just right on.

Tap at Tired Hands. Pours a full haze orange creamsickle. Medium white head. Wispy lace. Nose is generic Belgian Tripel yeast. Taste is spicy, salty, small golden raisins. Small alcohol bite and sweet candi sugar. Tastes more like a typical Abbey Tripel. Don't get any special ingredients. Very small tartness in back end. Medium palate to slightly dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, light honey, some citrus, floral, spices, rye, nuts, and light raisins. Taste of citrus, toast, nutty, spicy, with some yeast, and a dry finish.
