Our four-grain saison. Brewed with rye, wheat, oats, and malted-barley in homage to the original farmers (not brewers) that originated this style. Suggestions of tropical fruit, citrus rind, and black pepper. (Originally known as FarmHands)

Draft at tired hands..light apple juice like hue..nose of lemon zest..barnyard hay and funk..can’t remember if this was on the billing..aroma is solid..quite flavorful..however came off as a tad thinner than expected..leaves some spices notes on the palate..liked their other offerings much better..

Pours a hazy golden/straw with little white head and little lacing. Aroma of hay, grainy, herbal. Taste is herbal, a bit grainy, crisp. Low body and low carbonation. Pretty refreshing.

Tap flight at the brewery. Very pale yellow color, thin light head leaves a very delicate lace. Aroma is funky horse blanket and Myers lemon. Taste is funky, citrusy, tart, and clean. You can taste each if the four grains distinctly. Thin palate but the oats give it character.

On tap at Tired Hands. Was concerned when I saw "four grain" because my last four grain beer experience was a nightmare, but this was anything but. Good thing this is one of their house beers, because any saison lover should try this.

8 day old 64 ounce growler. Crispy yellow appearance. Minimal head. Loving the oatmeal and lemon zest notes. Really nice. Taste is a crisp lemon wheat with a peppery finish. Very impressive.

1L growler, sent from callmemickey (thanks a lot, Ryan), pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of dry wheat upfront some rustic farmhouse notes and hay. Flavour is extremely refreshing, with loads of dry wheat, lightly tart citrus, hay and some rustic notes. Quite flavourful for a sub-5% beer. Extremely refreshing and well-constructed. Great stuff.

On tap at Tired Hands.
Appearance: Clear pale straw body with a thick creamy white head.
Aroma: Light aroma with some lemon, straw and a slight tarty funk.
Taste: Bright flavor with straw, some peppery spice, and a mild finish.
Palate: Medium creamy body, soft carbonation.
Overall: Good saison, but could use a stronger finish and aroma.

Growler at home with friends. Pour is pale straw with a small white head and decent lacing. Biscuity, somewhat spicy, straw, muted aroma, grassy, lemony, and light vanilla in the aroma. Taste is floral, light bodied, biscuity, hay, a touch of pepper, citrusy, tangy, and grassy with a light bite on the finish. Thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid and definitely a table beer, but didn’t live up to the hype for me.

Growler @ Stephen’s place. Thanks! Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy yeasty, grassy, herbal, floral, peppery aroma. Fairly dry, lemon, grassy herbal, a bit chewy, passionfruit flavor. Super easy drinking.

Really pleasant light blond ale, mostly dry, grainy, with a nice crisp spicy hop-bitterness. Spicy yeasty esters nicely subdued. A nice, simple piece of work that asks for a larger glass.
