COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our four-grain saison. Brewed with rye, wheat, oats, and malted-barley in homage to the original farmers (not brewers) that originated this style. Suggestions of tropical fruit, citrus rind, and black pepper. (Originally known as FarmHands)

On draft at TH. Cloudy dishwater appearance. Interesting idea, using four different kinds of grains. Light & pleasantly sour. A good summer release, similar to a Berliner weisse. Crackers, clove, and a dash of cider.

A pale hazed blonde saison with a thin creamy white head. In aroma, pleasant fruity malt with bananas, cloves, lemon and thyme, smooth wild yeast. In mouth, a smooth delicious fruity malt witb light banana, cloves, coriander and lemon notes, summer quaffer.

Really great fruity notes with lean crisp malt character, not funky or tart and not really all that spicy so I guess some people might not think it’s very saison-y but I really enjoyed it as just a good blonde-ish ale that’s extremely drinkable.

On tap at TH. Cloudy pale gold pour, light and elegant looking. Fresh citrus and pepper in the nose, dry leafy hops and earthy grains. Gives the impression of a fine table beer, not far off their grisette in some sense. Playful mouthfeel, a bit of a bitter and dry finish. Flavors are like good fresh bread infused with citrus and spice. Enjoyable session brew.

Pours a soft straw blonde with 1.5 fingers of sticky white head. Aroma is very earthy, borders on turned fruit and citrus. Some peppery notes. Flavor shows earthy yeast and some bread dough. Over ripe citrus and a peppery/spicy quality. Very light and dry. 6/3/6/3/17

On tap at brewpub. Pours golden with creamy white head. Bread, wheat, grains, citrus, herbs, cooked vegetables. Moderately bitter and sweet. Aroma was quite unique, but somewhat unpleasant. Kind of spoiled this beer for me.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity, estery and light floral. Medium dry, fruity and toasted. Mellow yeasty and light estery into a smooth crisp finish.

Growler poured into a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, wheat, light spices from the rye, and a nice floral/citrusy hop profile. Flavor the same with the wheat and hops sticking out the most. Average texture. A good saison.
