Our four-grain saison. Brewed with rye, wheat, oats, and malted-barley in homage to the original farmers (not brewers) that originated this style. Suggestions of tropical fruit, citrus rind, and black pepper. (Originally known as FarmHands)

Draft at the brew pub. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has some belgian yeast notes, lemon zest, and a little spice. The taste is very light, lemon, dry finish. Very nice.

8oz draft at the Tired Hands Brewpub. Pours a pale, pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is a little yeasty, some bread, some rye. Light on the palate with light, soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, rye, spice, pepper, yeast, with a clean spicy finish. Very light, drinkable, and tasty.

On tap at the brewpub. This flagship saison is light and eminently sessionable. Think of a Single IPA hooking up with a saison and you've got FarmHands. Tasty.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Cloudy and deep yellow, with a small head A lace sheet as I drain the cup. A farmhouse aroma. A good malting, that makes so drinkable this four grain saison. Smooth drinker, a thick mouthfeel. A little rye edge. A good orange hop. Very drinkable.

Tap. Aroma: some farmhouse yeast funkiness, wheat and light malts, some pepper, light spicy hops, lemon. Light straw colored pour, fairly hazy, white head with good retention, lacing coats the glass. Flavor: lemon tartness, pepper and spicy hops, medium bitterness, wheat and rye with some pils malt notes, earthy and slightly funky, dry finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Excellent brew.

(Bottle) Pours yellow with a white head. The aroma holds frozen strawberries, sour cherry candy, clove and allspice up front with undertones of black pepper, coriander, subtle yellow fruits, wheat, oatmeal (with sugar, cinnamon and apples) and white bread. Quite complex, lots of yeast things going on. The flavor is near dry, light to medium bitter and light acidic with notes of grains, spices, light fruits, grassy/light earthy hops, phenols and esters. The mouthfeel is watery and light tart with light to medium carbonation. Grainy and phenolic finish. Light bodied.

Growler received in trade. Thank you callmemickey! Pours tiny hazy golden with a big frothy and bubbly white head that leaves some sticky lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is very tiny sweet, spicy and phenolic with crackers, sour strawberries, allspice, lime juice, grapes, unripe banana, cloves, sour cherry gumdrops, cilantro, dry wood, dusty oatmeal flakes, cereal, hay, cinnamon, apple skins, pie crust and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, fruity and spicy with crackers, allspice, cloves, unripe banana, sour cherries in sugar syrup, orange zest, cilantro, unripe strawberries, tropical fruit popsicle, oatmeal, apple sauce, cereal, unripe kiwi fruit, black pepper, dry wood, unripe sour pears and very subtle hints of sheet metal. Mouthfeel is tiny round, slightly spicy astringent, tiny watery, tiny fruity tart and light bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter and spicy with crackers, unripe banana, cloves, allspice, hay, black pepper, dry wood, grape skins, unripe plums, unripe banana, oatmeal and apple skins. Extremely phenolic which received mixed ratings but I kind of like it... Refreshing!

On tap at Tired Hands. Tart funky wheat and Brett. Light, crisp, and refreshing. A bit of sulfur but not a detraction. Hazy pale straw with thin white lacing head. Great wheat and Bretty notes, mild tart flavor with clean light bitter finish. Terrific light saison, refreshing, mildly hoppy and smooth. Nice session.

Looks like a classic saison, pale, small white head, hazy. Aroma is of orange, lemon, flowers, yeast. Taste is of orange, lemon, hay, pepper, flowers, horseblanket, a little barnyard funk in there aswell. A very nice and refreshing saison!

Cloudy, pale yellow with almost no head. Aroma of lemons, grains, and slight spices. Malty taste up front with late bitterness. Pretty tasty.
