On tap at the Fermentaria. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Musky dusty citrus on the nose, a bit of smokey orange peel. Medium bodied, a bit of sweaty green onion, touches of melon. Slow musk and gentle hops on the finish, a touch of orange and tangerine.

Pours super light clear straw with a lacy white head. Aroma brings juicy citrus zest and some buttery notes. Flavors bring juicy tropical fruit and the Nelson hops complement these flavors well with a juicy tangerine ending.

Draft at the fermentaria. Pours a mostly clear pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is something Iíve never smelled before. Melon, citrus, wheat. Incredible. Flavor follows right behind. Damned good beer!

Tap at Monkís. Clear pale yellow (not hazy at all), bright white head. Nose again spilling over with melon and fruit. Orange, so musky and dense. Flavor only light bitterness but smooth and utterly dry, herbal and rindy. Smooth light-medium body. What these guys are getting out of the hops is just incredible, they are truly special.

Itís funny reading through the comments of all these TH IPAs - all peachy and mangoey, all citrusy and pineapply - all good, and all different to each drinker, although RateBeer could probably disperse various TH IPA descriptions among various IPAs and not notice. This one has a touch of orange drink in it to me - truly juicy. I tried 6 pale ales/IPAs on my most recent visit, and this was probably the best, although my ratings are all more or less the same.

Can something be very good and disappointing at the same time? This growler says yes. A great citrusy pale ale by the standards of every brewery on the planet. Jus very good as TH beers go.

Growler: Thanks, Steve. Light-straw body with a cloudy haze throughout. Big, bright white head caps things off nicely, mild lacing left behind. Beautiful aroma of pineapple, orange, mango, grapefruit, pungent hop oils, pine needles, mild resin, a small hint of florals, & just a kiss of back-end dankness. Only a touch of pale cracker malt in the flavor, allowing the onslaught of hops to stand out even more. Bitter pine, lupulin oils, dry florals, fresh pineapple, tangerine peel, mango, grapefruit rind, a touch of green onion & freshly cut grass in the finish. Lingers with a kiss of lightly sweet pale malt, perfume, & juicy tangerine. Dry, thirst quenching. Delicious pale ale, super impressed by this... Fantastic stuff.

Back rate shared by jared. Nice pale pours low carb golden. Lemony and vinous whit wine grape and pulpy melon. Taste has mineral bitterness and a bit grainy.

32oz growler in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity hops, some pale malts, light notes of fruits and clementines, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid beer but not the best.
