On tap at Tired Hands on 12/18/12.

Pour: Completely clear golden orange, with a nice finger and a half of white fluffy head. Head recedes rather quickly, and doesn’t leave much lacing.

Smell: Grapefruits and grass up front. Some caramel sweetness comes through and takes over from them. A little bit of booze.

Taste: Follows the nose, but the hops feel significantly faded. Grapefruit and some floral bitterness. A LOT of pine... too much even for me. Pretty substantial caramel malt backbone provides sweetness, and almost overbalances.

Mouthfeel: This was nice. Great carb and no trace of the nearly 10%. Very drinkable.

Overall: Pretty disappointed here. Just felt a little old, and the pine astringency was too much. I thought this was only like two and half weeks old, but it tasted like it was fading quick.

We’ve got a new batch. Draft. Hazy golden and yellow pour with white head. Herbal, grassy, dank hop aromas. Flavors are full herbal, grassy, citrus and overall dank tones.

Growler pour last week compliments of Joe. Had to try this Amarillo/Galaxy guy. Poured a slightly clear amber-orange with medium head and lacing. Notes of pine, pineapple, grapefruit, light caramel, and rustic grass. Malts were def present in this one to balance out the tropical juiciness from the solid hop bill. Medium body with a very bitter finish. I like bitterness but it was almost too much in the flavor. Aroma was a homerun though. Cheers

On tap at TH and from a growler. Pours a surprisingly clear yellowish. Very white, thick head. Skunky, dank aroma but in a good way. Mouthfeel is very light for a 9.5% beer which makes this waaaaaay too drinkable. Perfect carbonation. Taste is also slinky, earthy and dank, but all mildly so. Very flavorful. Neither pine nor citrus dominate, each seems to contribute to the flavor. Another real winner from TH. I'm getting spoiled with their IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at tired hands with Linh. Pours a hazy, bright orange body with a ton of white lacing. Aroma is fresh citrus, grapefruit, pine and funk. Mouthfeel is super fresh with notes of bitter hop, pone, citrus, sweet fruit, pineapple and grapefruit.

Growler from Avalon68. Thanks! Poured clear and amber. Decent head. Aroma was full of citrus and sweet pine. Flavors were well rounded and citrusy, bits of caramel and candied hops. Medium to full mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Big time bitter finish. Nicely executed big IPA from Tired Hands.

Amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, citrus, toffee, some toast, and a bit of alcohol. Taste of citrus fruits, pine, toffee malts, grass, and bitter grapefruit in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Not a huge fan of Amarillo or Galaxy (esp the latter), and WeedEater boasts a huge hop profile. Somehow, this DIPA squashes those prejudices with a ginormous malt bill that smoothes out every rough edge from the aforementioned hops. Aroma rivals the Hill Farmstead DIPAs; appearance equals (or trumps!) them with lace that refuses to subside. No signs of the 9.3% ABV in this bad boy. Tired Hands brewed another winner!

Pours clear light amber with a creamy light sandy head and great lacing. Aroma and flavor bring a huge juicy sweet and sharp hop presence from the Amarillo and Galaxy hops. Sweeter and smoother in the nose, quite potent hops on the tongue with a pleasant lingering ending.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Medium orange-amber body, creamy white head, solid lacing. Nose is mellower than expected given Tired Hands’ ability to captivate with aromatic expression. Hop profile consists of grapefruit, resin, grass. Decently assertive malt bill. Flavor is an improvement with a bit more depth and intensity. Pleasant, medium bodied, moderately bitter, soft finish.
