Whatever, Nevermind was formerly Good Yule, our strong holiday Saison. Well, we missed the boat on releasing this one before the "holiday season", so... Whatever, Nevermind. 8% abv.

Draft at THBC. Pours a hazy beige with some head. Nose is cheese, yeasty aldehydes, and pale malt. First sip is similar with a mild farmhouse finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Big bright pineapple and funky yeast. Medium bodied, sweet and funky, tangy and musky. Lingering tartness, sweet musk and tangy fruit.

Draft, color is unfiltered dirty gold, lasting, thick head retention. Aroma shows me a subdued hop with thick yeasty character. The chewy yeast character carries over into the flavor with mild tones of pepper, clementine and over ripe apricots. Light musty basement hints with a spicy finish. Mild alcohol in the backend but is in no way distracting. When I read the name of this brew I started humming the melody from Nirvana’s "Come as You Are". Now I know it has no musical reference at all. As far as this brew I enjoyed it.

Draft at the source with Linh prior to Chinese New Year 2013. Pours a hazy orange with lacing. Aroma is funky tangerines, light yeast and Somewhat estery. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of yeast, tangerines, grapefruit, light booze in the finish. Very nice, RIP Kurt.

Draft at the brewpub after Hand Farm release. Poured a dark gold body that was slightly cloudy with an average sized foamy mostly white head. Aroma is classic saison notes but 2X strong as Farm Hand, the spice..pepper..odd citrus notes are doubled and the tropical furits, buble gum, and dough becomes more apparent. Medium to fuller bodied along with average carbonation and slight heat. Flavor of tropical fruits, lots of spice, white pepper, wet toast, hint of cloves. Solid I liked it altough strong.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2015 On draft, pours a hazy, straw yellow with creamy white head, very good lacing and head retention. Aromas of saison yeast, stone fruit, and spice. Taste is saison yeast, mineral water, slight peanut butter, must, and pepper. Sits in the mouth nicely with a crisp finish. I can see where people are coming from with the saltiness but it’s still a nice saison and easy going for the 8 percent. New batch is decent, has some peanut butter yeast suspension and belgian wit notes but still drinkable.

Hazy golden-orange body, large frothy white head, soapy lacing. Big, bold grapefruit and spicy Saison yeast. Fits right in with Avec Les Vons Veux. The finish of the nose is down right uncanny. Flavor exhibits grapefruit, stonefruits, white pepper, a little must. Medium to full bodied, appropriate carbonation, slightly earthy finish.

On tap at Tired Hands yesterday afternoon. Pour is a cloudy golden-yellow color with a thick, rocky white head of foam. Great retention and lacing. The nose carries moderate saison yeast along with some stone fruits, and just a bit of alcohol. Flavor has good spice and a nice body that’s fairly thick for a saison, but fits in line with bigger beers like Dupont Acev Les Bon Voeux. Some citrus through the finish to complement the stone fruits. Easy drinking, especially for the ABV.

On tap at TH. pours a Pino Gris yellow but with more haze. Mild yeast aroma with melon and grape aroma. Little to no head or lacing. Mouthfeel is very moderate but dry and slick. Taste is reminiscent of a lighter Grand Cru. Dry, sweet, mild yeast, bit o alcohol flavor but not much heat. Really liked it. Could have drank a pint or two easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
