2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber colour with a thin frothy white quick dissapearing head. Smells of sweet caramel malt, wood, and dark fruit. Medium oily body. Slight biscuity feel. Taste of sweet caramel malt with a light bitter average finish. Hints of nut, roast, and dark fruit. The sweetness is rather watered down loosing any character this may have had making it like sweet water.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2011 Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 2 December 2009. Amber colour. Completely flat. Rather low on aroma and flavour. Came and went without making much of an impression. Mouthfeel was dull and lifeless. Condition possibly suspect. [5/2/5/2/10 = 2.4]
RE-RATE. Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 3 on 2 December 2010. Copper colour. No head. Rather low condition. Dry malt aroma. Maybe a little grainy. Sweetish, with caramel prominent. Not really my thing. [6/3/6/3/11 = 2.9]. Score updated.
