500ml Bottle from Booth’s Windermere - Red clear body, thin white head. Nose is dried cake fruits, lots of malt and caramel. Taste leaves a helluva lot to be desired, earthy and not very nice at all. Leave it at that.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Tebay Services on the M6. Amber beer with a white head. The label says strong with a tangy finish. Didn’t get either of those. Just a run of the mill bitter.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours ruby with a thick foamy head that dissipates quickly but leaves lacing. Aroma is some malt with spices and grass. Taste is a bit malty but it’s a very watery palate so pretty poor to be honest.
