Just what Australia needs - another lawnmower beer. Are there enough lawns in Oz to justify all these identikit pale lagers? This one looks, smells and tastes very much like a knock-off of Crown Lager. In some circles that would be a compliment. Industrial appearance - syrupy gold with a negligible head. The aroma is light strike mingled with POR and cereals. Standard fizzy carbonation. Sweet and malty with minimal bitterness. In a blind taste test, I’d pick it as Crown Lager. Then I’d ask for a new beer. (330ml bottle from Liquor on Parade, Kingsford. BB 19/10/08)

Beer of the month at the Sando for only $4 a bottle. This would imply that one is normally expected to pay more than $4 a bottle. Interesting.

Another pitch at the cheap and nasty bulk end of the market. Bland and dull and fizzy. Not good even at this price.
