A bit of roast in the aroma. This has a surprisingly strong coffee flavor and a fair amount of nuts. Also a bit carbonated. Not for me. the nuts outweigh the coffee in the finish.

A nut brown ale that’s a little over done. Very nutty and very sweet. Still a very enjoyable brew.

Nice twist to a brown ale, I like it.

On tap @ Titanic. Pours a nice red-brown color with a soapy off-white head. Nose is nuts, earth, spice, and slight brown sugar. Flavor is nuts, earth, and slight bittering hops blending together. Light to medium-bodied and interesting overall.

Dark amber colored beer with an off-white head. Nice nutty aromas mixed with some toffee scents. The taste is similar to the smell, very sweet and nutty, caramel, the toffee is really noticeable and is a nice touch. Mildly sweet aftertaste, a bit thick on the mouth feel. Drinkable and tasty.

On draught at the brewpub in Coral Gables, FL. Pours a clear copper reddish color brew with an average size off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some nice lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, roasted nuts, a touch of flowery hops and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied with flavors of roasted caramel malt, toffee some dry fruit and a touch of chocolate. Finish is slightly bitter with a slowly disappearing fruit and roasted nut aftertaste.

Probably one of their best, this has no body but boasts a fantastic smell of roasted chestnuts and cinnamon. The flavor doesn’t fall too short either, sweet and spicy. Smooth. Weak body, tho.
